Wonderful new venue for a wedding/wedding reception. A real hidden gem in the heart of Paisley. The church itself has been sensitively restored and refurbished to provide a wonderful space. Highly recommended.

A lovely day spent within the confines of this amazing structure. Having graduated here back in 2001, it's a place I thought I would never see the inside of again. Fast forward 21 years and I'm invited to a wedding, my first wedding, couldn't have got a better event. This is how it would look for anyone thinking of getting married here, cracking venue, didn't leave till 1am! 10/10

I had my wedding here and I am absolutely blown away by the quality service we received at Coats. The care and attention to detail that Suzanne and her team brings to the table cannot be faulted. Suzanne really knows her stuff when it comes to weddings. She will put you in touch with the best suppliers to help make your day magical. Coats is constantly upping their game, adding new features and packages all the time, and the level of service we received for the price we paid was incredible value for money. As for the building itself, it is stunning. We haven't yet had the professional pictures back, but even from our phone snaps, you can see how this place is the perfect setting for a truly magical wedding. The building is absolutely beautiful, and our wedding required so little additional decoration to make the event seem luxurious and opulent. On-street parking outside the venue is very reasonably priced, and free on weekends too. I cannot overstate how strongly I recommend Coats.

Visited this place to celebrate 2022 Durgapuja (Indian festival to worship Goddess Durga). This is a former Gothic church which is currently operating as an event place. This place is about 10 mins walkable distance from paisley Gilmore street railway station, Glasgow.

Attended the Durga Puja this year (2023). Mesmerized by the view and the setting. The grandness of the structure accomodated the celebrations in a lovely way.

An amazing vibe. This age old church was rented by the Hindu community of Glasgow for Durga puja festival, and it goes along way in showing the religious tolerance and fervour associated with Scottish culture. In the photos below you can see a small cross and the magnificence of this impairing edifice. With growing intolerance and enmity to ards other religion, events like this point out the miscibility of Humanity. Kudos to all th Scottish patrons and the vibrant Indian community.

Stunning venue of choice and all of the staff involved help put on a great night for my wedding. I would recommend Coats to anyone thinking of getting married or any other events they may be planning. Can't thank them enough, from the organisers to the bar/catering staff, for everything they did for us.

Shocking shocking treatment which I've just received from a member of kitchen staff at the Bothwell Castle Golf clubhouse. Came in as a guest and was already having a Martell which was paid for and sitting down when I asked if I could have a bar snack or sandwich... only to be rudely informed that I cannot be there unless I'm a member or with a member. I was shocked by the lack of manners and the way I was addressed was shocking. I left my drink (feel free to refund me) and left. If being windblown is a problem then I understand, cannot imagine that I looked homeless or maybe its the accent with the Australian golf cap I was sporting? Please let me know. Well, as a retired journalist this was definitely a first for me. Sadly, it left me feeling sad and very dejected.... Scotland being one of the most inclusive countries. 💙 This was undeserved and an absolute horrid situation ... hope I never have to face such nastiness for no apparent reason again in my life time. I'm 68 years old... what on earth could justify such horridness?

Beautiful place to have a wedding. Great setting for photos and the reception area was good as well.

This is such an amazing building and a "must see" if you are visiting Paisley. Take the time to walk up the big steps at the front of the building and walk around the sides. It really is such a marvel of architecture.

A beautiful country park with loads if designated pathways. A mixture of pine trees and other native species. Highland cattle are grazed in this area so watch your step. Plenty of free car parking and benches scattered here and there as well as a children’s outdoor adventure swing park. This is a very popular place with dog walkers, hikers, families and local off road vehicles! Set stop the hillside it is worth just visiting for a great view of Foxbar and Paisley. Only downside is a lot of traffic and aircraft noise. I often go for day trips with a shelter and eat lunch , I don’t camp overnight.

It doesn't matter how busy the car park is, you can always go for a peaceful walk and find a nice spot to rest with an excellent view. Providing I don't live far, it is my go to place for a walk :)

Beautiful escape from the city! Easily accessible by car with numerous parking spaces, some small, some larger. Gorgeous views of Paisley, Glasgow, and the mountains. The terrain is not challenging and is suitable for young children. Most of the areas are not wheelchair accessible but the view point has a parking lot, so it's a very good spot for people who would struggle walking long distances.

Great place for walking the Dog, open fields where they can run around. Check local signage for live stock in some of the fields

Great views and a tranquil part of Paisley to go and look over Glasgow and Paisley. There is also a walk that has great scenarios. The city from here at night is also stunning!

Great place to take your dog with so many varied routes. With that in mind it is also good for human walks! If you want to go off the beaten path or the ground underfoot is wet then I would recommend light boots. Plenty of areas good for kids. Bear in mind there are various entrances so pick your poison accordingly.

From this place, Glasgow Airport and the arial view of Glasgow city is visible. Very nice place to visit.

Great views and good for walking the dog. Could be lots better though. Would be great if there was somewhere to buy a snack or cup of tea/coffee/soup, etc'. Also, could be doing with a Cable Car lifting you to and fro the area for those who can't drive, or, for the more adventurous – a Deathslide. Just a thought.

This is a great place to go walking, either on your own, with the kids, or with the dog. On a clear day, the views and scenery are fantastic!! There is a small playpark, picnic benches, and benches located in various areas throughout. There is also a good-sized car park. Can easily spend a couple of hours here. Highly recommend.

Great place, beautiful falls trail is muddy and can be slick. Bring some boots and your dog.

A beautiful experience visiting the cottages! The volunteers were so helpful and knowledgeable! There was so much kindness in the air and the small details were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend!

Visited on a whim as we were outside Jam Jar having some lunch and noticed it was open. We were shocked actually how much there was to see including the extra building behind and the tea room. Would recommend anyone to have a wee nosey around when you can as it is steeped in Paisley's history. Will be back for tea another day :)

Visited on first day of opening this year when all the volunteers were settling in. The food in the tea room was perfect, lovely home made soup, sandwiches and cream tea. The staff were so friendly and attentive and we'll definitely be back

Thoroughly tasteful afternoon tea, and options for drinks. Volunteers couldn't have been any more attentive. Tour was very interesting and informative. Guide was very knowledgeable and open to answering any questions that were asked. Would definitely recommend a visit here and I'll be back for another visit soon

It's Sma' Shot day in Paisley which pays tribute to its weaving past, Paisley arguably was the leading weaving town in Scotland. The weaving industry led to a process for making thread which led to the thread mills but even without the mills industrialisation throughout the UK would probably have led to decline of weaving. There are many reminders of Paisleys thread making past indeed you could describe the centre of Paisley as a living museum to the Coats, the Clarks and the company they built. However there's very little to its weaving past Sma' Shot Cottage being the leading example. A small cottage with a loom and living spaces faithfully preserved in this 18th century cottage, well worth a visit.

Fantastic guides take you round the cottages with lots of interesting stories and a wealth of knowledge. Good shop for a wee reminder of your visit then finish off with a cup of tea and fabulous home baking. Highly recommended.

The car park is an alright size but when we were there the park got busy at lunchtime and there weren't enough spaces due to how people parked. The toilets are beside the car park and in portacabins but there was only one working and there was no toilet roll in any of the cubicles. There is a food and drink place at the car park as well. There is a good selection of food on offer and ice cream as well just ignore the price list on the wall outside. The park has a great bike trail with plenty of jumps. There is also a training area for people learn about bike safety that's a really good size and well laid out. The kids play area is brilliant. It's very big and has lots of different things to play on. It is also split in to different age category. The exercise area has plenty of fitness equipment unfortunately some were broken but it was still good fun. The walk round the park is very easy and not strenuous and is a good place to take your dog for a walk. The walled garden are at the top of the park and it's got lots of seats and is nice and quiet.Nature corner is nothing like the picture you see. It's a building site is the only way to put it. Hopefully it's just temporary and will go back to the way it is in the picture. The pond is getting drained so is fenced off so can't walk around it. The model railway has a sign saying it is open in the summer only but doesn't give a date for when it's opening. There is good open spaces for a picnic or to play football, badminton etc but it on a hill.

Disgraceful that teachers and assistants from Williamsburgh Primary and Ralston Primary are littering our park with laminated plastic sheets and plastic cable ties hung from trees, bushes and fences around the park. The teachers and assistants put them up as a teaching project and walk away leaving plastics everywhere for months! . Ironic that they don't teach their pupils that plastics don't decompose or degrade and pose a threat to the wildlife that inhabits this park. I was seeing plastic laminated sheets and ties well over a year after being put up. Shocking. Extremely lazy and ignorant teachers and teaching assistants. Clean your mess up. It's our park! What hope have we got when our teachers need teaching!

A lovely park with good parking access, a cafe and ice cream vendor. The pond is a good size and few circuits give a good workout, there is a peace garden run by volunteers that is quiet and provides a nice place to sit and enjoy the fresh air in peace and quiet. Another nice afternoon circling the pond and sitting in the sun. The Swans and ducks seemed to be having a good time with lots of people feeding them.

Beautiful well used park in Renfrewshire perfect for walking, taking the kids to the playpark, picnics and dog walking. There is a nice wee cafe too. The downside. I'm not sure who to be more annoyed at the little darlings that keep vandalising the toilets (apparently) or the council whose only response is to keep them closed rather than exploring other options - even paying toilets would be better than nothing. Do better.

Great for dog walks and families. For the former you have the dog run plus the wooded area which gives variety. For kids you have the play park and the train on a Saturday. Food is available via the Tearoom and other facilties.

I come here at least twice a week with my guide dog so she can have her free running time and burn off her energy and have lots of good sniffs She loves coming to the park , there is lots of space and it’s a lovely walk for us and she loves looking for squirrels too Often see a lot of dog walkers here too

One of the first parks that we visited as a family after arriving in the UK and i have to say, it is beautiful! This is a vast open space with a small hill-like climb, a cycling area, a small pond with swans, a children's play area and an amazing walkway! We loved it and would recommend everyone to visit this beautiful place to just take a stroll and let your kids enjoy fresh air.

Amazing building constructed for this specific purpose of supporting 4 tons of telescope. Closes this month for 2 year refurbishment so great opportunity to see it again. Knowledgeable and helpful staff on hand to explain purpose and working

Despite it's clear under funding the by the council, the observatory has been a place of wonderment for me since childhood. The staff are very knowledgeable and thee are a few gems to behold once there, including the Coates telescope which is well over 100 years old, and is still in use today. Well worth a visit if you are in town...

It's a good place to visit. You need to go through the museum to gain access to the building. It's free to visit. If you have mobility issue's it's stair all the way up to the top. The video presentation was good.

This could be OK if only they would actually clean things up a bit (the place is very tatty) and know something of what they are talking about. Maybe it was a bad day but when I visited the guide's talk consisted quite literally of "This is a telescope. It was made in 1880 at the same time the building was built. Any questions". She quite literally knew nothing of her subject. Obviously there is a limit to how much a tiny provincial museum like this can manage but they have an observatory, albeit a tiny one. They have a planetarium (not in use when I visited and similarly tiny) a film presentation and a building to show it all in. So there is no excuse for then locking the building up only to have it unlocked by someone who knows nothing and apparently has no interest in let alone enthusiasm for the subject. One of the rare occasions when it is people at such an exhibition that let it down. Even with their limited resource they have enough to inspire and educate and they failed to do either.

Wanted to do this for years. Well worth the wait. Looked at the moon felt as if you could reach out and touch it.

A little gem of a park. The highlight is definitely the fabulous fountain in the centre. Victorian design and engineering at its best.

This is a beautiful, calming fountain, and carefully restored. It really is spectacular.

Small but nice park with a lovely water feature.

Okay for dog walking, but is rarely cleaned. Local council don't really seem to care much about ensuring that the park and/or surrounding streets are kept clean or litter picked up, bins provided and emptied etc'. The local area is really quite bad in this aspect. Locals have had to email local councillors several times just to get streets cleaned. In the Fountain Gardens / Town Centre area, there are sadly many examples of neglect, i.e: weeds growing out of bins, trees growing out of buildings in main streets leading to and in the town centre, front panels missing from lampposts and electricity hub doors are 'stuck' closed with sellotape, until it loses its adhesiveness and is left lying open with small children and people's pets at serious risk of being electrocuted or worse. Nobody in any department of local authority around the local area seems to care, which is sad, because there are lots of decent people still living here. Goodness knows why.

This park just off Love Street in Paisley I believe is another example of the Coats family's munificence. Quite a small park, with the usual children's play area, it's other main use nowadays is by the many dog walkers. The main attraction of this park is the magnificent Victorian? Fountain recently restored and in working order.

Nice to have a beautiful green space so close to my small flat with no garden. Beautiful fountain and Rabbie Burn's statue make this a worthwhile visit.

It was a shame the council wasted good money on the concrete monstrosity they put in for the kids. Nice new swings and general update would've been money better spent but overall a really nice park.

Lovely venue just reopened recently after a multi year refurbishment. Nice bar with a balcony overlooking the Abbey precinct. Great main hall for bands. Very friendly and helpful staff

The town hall was the Exhibition Centre venue of Paisley from World Class Snooker to famous bands doing a small gig to our Comicon. It could and should be so much more so it's full 24/7 busy by attracting bands, comedians, TV shows, am dram and events. I would love something interesting going on there through the week every week from a local band battle to being similar to The Pavillion as local comedy talent from plays to gameshows. The plans look amazing but do you really believe it will get finished before your grandkids have grandkids?

Town Hall looks absolutely amazing. Did amazing job refurbishing it. Went to the Niteworks gig last night and it was outstanding apart from the bar. We were in the queue for 1 hour!! Absolutely ridiculous and because of it we have missed begging to the band set. On events like this there should be more people working behind the bar.

We had a fabulous time at Steven and Sineads wedding on Saturday 18th of November. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the evening. Smashing venue.

Really gorgeous building, the refurbishment has clearly been successful! However, it wasn’t made clear that there was no lift to the top floor when I booked my ticket.

Shocking bar service at gig there. Had to wait an hour to get served. Queues out the door of bar and down through the main hallway. Slow bar staff with little motivation to clear a waiting crowd. A real let down and will not be attending any other functions here again.

Beautiful Town Hall building currently undergoing extensive refurb which I understand should be completed later in 2022. Great location with the White Cart Water running behind the building and Paisley Abbey and it's grounds at the front. Wonderful civic space.

Remember the model you could see about 7 years ago of what would open in 2021. COVID isn't an excuse when nothing has changed since it was a building site in 2016. No doubt the companies involved still get paid by Renfrewshire Council. On the plus side the workies are friendly enough to pass a joint around when you're passing by. Because passing by is all you'll do for another 5 years

Visited for the Star Wars toy exhibitions with the family. A bit disappointed that they decided not to allow photos in the main exhibition but it was quite interesting. The kids loved the observatory and we will return one evening to see it in action. There is a side entrance for wheelchair and buggy access that enters from the car park that we missed on the way in. Lots of stairs but lifts around to make things accessible

Lovely little museum. Just enough to look at, from dinosaur foot prints to a mummified child!! A good amount about Paisley's history too. Pram and wheelchair access is up the ramp at the side you just press the bell and once inside there is a lift to get up to the main floor.

Paisley museum and art gallery what a beautiful relaxing place to spend the afternoon, great exhibitions and art,amazing knowledgeable staff that are will king to help and discuss The exhibits. Everyone should visit often to take a moment to reflect on something other than the here and now, very cathartic! There is a bus stop directly out side and plenty of car parks close by if you need them.

Bit of a dated display. Not particularly good at illustrating the history of the town. A chronological approach would be better instead of having it all mixed in with taxidermy and Egyptian artifacts. Paisley Artist's Exhibition is generally good, but with the usual amount of tat. So much kept in storage and never displayed (especially some of the Victorian paintings), but this has recently all been moved to the High St. Regardless, still love the place and hope the council is sensible in its redevelopment.

Great to see local history but not very disabled friendly if you don't have a wheelchair. No parking either, however if you give advance notice they state they will try to accommodate. No use if going there ad hoc though , but advised when it gets upgraded.

Nice park for a relaxing walk. They have children's play areas. Lots of greenery.

It's easily overlooked as the entrances are set back from the road. It's worth exploring as it's quite quiet with great open spaces. There's a children's playground at the top of the hill.

Beautiful space with lots of life & scenery. Not alot of activities for teens or grown-ups but 0-5s will enjoy it. There's more that could be included.

Such a lovely big park. Beauliful pond with nesting swans and ducks. I have seen locals putting a rod in and catching fish. Lovely play area for kids. Now has a few machines for adults to exercise. Ideal for exercising your woofers and meeting others with same interest. Enjoy resting on seats dotted around Park and taking in atmosphere

I love this park as it's nice to sit in on a lovely sunny 🌞 day 😎 and it's also Great 👍 for a good walk in the morning with your dog 🐕 u meet other nice people and the swan's are there every year plus the ducks.

Very welcoming and friendly congregation. Although the building itself is closed at the moment because of the pandemic the members of the church are still being supportive of one another, keeping in touch on Facebook, messaginf and ringing one another. The Rector can also be contaced.

Many closed shops sadly in this bright and airy shopping centre. The car park payment machines are cash only, and don't always like notes. The car park operative is however very helpful and the car park fees refreshingly reasonable. The shops that are there are fine and include Costa and Boots. Although right next to Gilmour Street railway station the car park was never designed for rail users as there is no easy access to it. You have to walk through the shopping centre and the pedestrian precinct to get to/ from a train.

Always fun to be had in this lovely little centre.... not many amazing shops but it's got a Poundland and that's usually good for a fight or two. Prepare to pretend tae be on your phone as some guys try and get ye tae subscribe to some energy nonsense or something. Extra star for Subways sandwiches and the Iceland, otherwise, walking through here is like an episode of The Walking Dead.

Ok little shopping centre not a massive selection of shops men's toilets not in the best condition 3 of the 4 sinks were broken.

Actually felt quite sad when I saw how many shops have closed 😕 I remember it being a good place to go shopping for clothes + shoes etc and it was always really busy, thpse were good times. Unfortunately it's like a ghost Town now.. really sad tbh

Peacocks, New Look, Shoe Zone, Poundland and Superdrug are the almost the only High Street names left in the town centre now so it's handy having them in one place. Peacocks is really good if you're over 6' foot like me and has a great choice.

A lot more well known high street stores than I imagined. Especially compared to the Paisley Centre. The sooner they use that as a film set for a zombie movie the better. It wouldn't need much added.. scary music and some blood..

It's sad to see shops closing, some of which have been there for years, but still a good shopping centre with lots of choices

Good selection of shops, including Superdrug, Poundland, Card Factory and Peacocks. There's a good sized café that offers a good selection of food and drink options. There's also a Costa Coffee for alternative eating options. The centre is wheelchair friendly, as it is on the level. The car park has lots of spaces and is fairly priced.

Went to see and hear the Paisley Rock choir with my daughter. It was a great experience, they performed rock classics in a choir format for about half an hour. Really enjoyed it.

Even on a Sunday afternoon it was relatively busy a lot of footfall,most store were open ,the mall was very clean and tidy,a few Lego additions were great to see and as an added bonus there's free parking on a Sunday

Even the shopping centre is struggling ,I'm a city person and to see a town going through tough times. Despite Covid 19, that town looks like it got hit hard 😳 😕

Nice place to shop. The building has a lot of shops that provide services that meet the metropolitan need. Like Phamarcy, eatery, games acade, etc. Centrally positioned in the heart of Paisley.

Few shops still here like JD sports, O Neil's cobblers and a Costa. I think this is an over looked centre that deserves more attention and visitors

Ridiculous this place is even open. I trust that is mainly due to Iceland needing the business in the town. Place could be perfect for inner city living flats. Please someone do something with this as its a massive eyesore

We were at Paisley Piazza yesterday. These photos are the disabled parking area on level 3. There is a step/pavement before you can get to the lifts! That was OK for me on crutches, but I have 2 friends in wheelchairs so its of no use for them whatsoever! It was exactly the same right round to the mother/child area at the other side. One is in a wheelchair that she wheels herself. The other is in a motorised chair. Both are very independent ladies and drive specially adapted cars. They usually travel on their own though, so this step would be a real hassle! It seems crazy that there wouldn't be ramps for wheelchair users? PS. Incidentally, we did appreciate the FREE parking on Sundays rule

Lovely building in the centre of Paisley. Interesting to spend an hour looking around. Small shop/cafe with seating area.

Really enjoyed the Candlelight Concert we attended recently. The music and the orchestra and soloists were all first class. Only downside was the seating which I know cannot be helped. Also it wasn't very clear where to go to purchase merchandise but we will do so online. All in all though a beautiful experience and in spite of the seating would come again.

We were invited to share in a Christening and were made welcome from the start of of visit. The car park is big and access to the Cathedral is via ramps to wide doors.

I go here every year for the pantomime at Christmas. Have been going since I was 1. The staff are lovely and are always happy to help with any questions, never found an issue with them. It is a lovely little place! The panto is the best one I have ever seen! I love it!

The little gift was absolutely excellent. Well written, well acted, well done! But, Our family experience was ruined by babies!!!!! My granddaughters had their hair pulled from the seats behind, their chairs rocked, their attention constantly diverted by persistent noise. This was not a show for babies to be present! Children had to concentrate to understand the thread of the show. Crying and at times, screaming from the babies present should NOT have happened. Even the actor was challenged at times to be heard! A real shame really!!

It's quite hard to separate the experience of the Arts Centre from the gig I attended. I went to see Michael Cassidy and Kathryn Williams. The gig was amazing, I totally loved Kathryn some amazing songs and a great voice. The venue itself was easily found via google maps on my phone, it had parking nearby (which was on street and free). The staff in the venue were really helpful and explained where I could easily find a cashpoint and how long I had to get there before the show started! The venue had a bar/coffee shop offering alcohol, soft drinks and hot drinks (from a proper espresso machine!) It also sold Divine chocolate bars and buttons :-) The auditorium for the gig was 'small but perfectly formed' as Kathryn put it. It was really intimate and sat in row 2 I had a great view. The sound was great, just right IMO for the size of venue. I would certainly visit again to watch a performance or gig there. Thanks.

I first went there in 2017. I just had arrived from Bangladesh. I was just wondering around. Then I found this center. It amazed me. There was a show going on. I went there and enjoyed the show. I felt happy for a moment there. I left home and was truly alone. This place calmed me. It was a great experience to be there.

The auditorium is quite a nice space for small events. The bar however, is unbelievably expensive. We're talking about 3.50 for a small premix can of Morgan's and coke with a plastic cup. So go for the music and the space but just avoid buying a drink whilst you're there!

First time there but not last. Excellent food at great price. 2 course lunch for 12.95, unheard of these days!

Ordered two tuna salad sandwiches, latte, two cans of juice and biscuit to take away. Sandwiches in large take away containers with side salad and lovely creamy coleslaw. Provided With napkins, plastic cutlery and salt and pepper sachets which was nice. However the let down was the bread for the sandwiches was going stale and the crust was hard and dry. Was hungry so managed to eat the inside of the sandwiches and left the outsides. Extremely disappointed as the main item was stale if this had not been an issue I would be giving 5 star review. Pity let themselves down with serving stale bread.

Lovely meal! Staff attentive. Bruchetta was perfect, followed by Lasagne!

Had a fantastic meal here at the end of my trip, we skipped lunch and ordered every course, drink and dessert we wanted (went all out) and still ended up spending little! Delicious food from start to finish, couldn't get enough of the lemonade!

I've never had a bad meal in this restaurant. Our most recent visit for my Father's birthday was just as great as always. The menu has changed since we last visited but I liked the look of the new dishes.

Nice inside, a bit of a rustic feel. Starter was very nice, I had pate, main course was not so good I had saltimbocca which was served on a mushroom risotto. The chicken was fine but the dish arrived swimming in the sauce which may have been better on the side. I also felt the risotto was mushy, a bit overdone. No complaints on the service & the place was busy enough. Maybe I was just a bit unlucky with my choice.

Nice early evening meal. Went to old favourite in Paisley. Given early evening menu which is set price for 2/3 course. Food arrives quickly, is hot, seasoned correctly and as described. Meats cooked perfectly, generous portions although salad undressed. Drinks are varied and wine menu has nice classical Italian varieties. House wines (by glass) are really good and priced well. Staff friendly and patient with kids. Surroundings well presented and clean and peak in open kitchen showed a very clean and organised area. Will be back as always

Food was all good except one very disappointing main course. Pork escalope which was served as a tough pork chop plonked on top & totally covering my potatoes & veg. Lots of fat through it, dry & tough. I did query it with the maitre de but he said that’s pork escalope. It is normally, in any other restaurant, pork fillet hammered out to a thin escalope, sometimes it’s breadcrumbed but not always. I would never have ordered a pork chop in any restaurant!! Not happy.

First visit, will be start of many. Delicious food, freshly served and at really value for money prices. Staff lovely. Drinks reasonably priced too. Could not find one fault. They are closing for a refurbishment for 1 week, cannot wait to go back, well done everyone.

Had a lovely family meal celebrating my grandson Daniels tenth birthday. Staff were really good with his birthday cake , singing happy birthday to him . The food was lovely I had the soup for starters and the sea bass for the main. Food was delicious, everyone in our party had nothing but praise for this well priced family friendly restaurant.

Last minute booking last night . Was brilliant , food was great service was great and the price was very good . Places like this keeping their feet on the ground is a breath lf fresh air.

What a great find! Both me (vegan) and my friend (meat eater) really enjoyed our meals, I had the veg supreme (done vegan) and they had a half pizza, half lasagne which we absolutely devoured to our satisfaction 😄 Even though it was clearly a busy night, they found us a table for 2 and we're very attentive and helpful - genuinely very friendly team here and it shows, we even got all our food in good time despite a clear rush and big parties. We had 2 waitresses, one with red hair and one who was blonde (sorry I don't have better ways of describing you both 😅) and they made our meal with great service 💚 Great night, great food, great place.

went with my mate for dinner last night, both had the sharing platter then half pizza half pasta and it was excellent!! staff couldn't b any nicer and so friendly. cocktails where really good as well. bill was very reasonable. will b back in the near future to try other stuff on the menu.

Laid back restaurant with something for everyone. Pizza is very tasty and they have a large cocktail menu. Servings are large! Service is wonderful and very kind. Next time I’ll need to leave room for dessert, it looked delicious.

5 Stars for the Cocktails - So many to choose from, fun menu with a nice local touch in the naming conventions. They also taste as good as they look. Food okay too, possibly lose a star but good value forpmey and plenty to choose from. Perfect place to visit with freinds.

Visited for lunch on Saturday 24th June with my friend. The staff were so friendly and the service was excellent. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a delicious lunch and a lovely Scottish gin, the name of which I could not pronounce, but it was fab! Highly recommend Jam Jar. 👌

Brilliant service from start to finish. Staff were all welcoming and attentive and the food itself was great. As well as the portions being large I thought the quality of the food was good too. Definitely the place to go if you're in need of a good feed.

The food & cocktails as always were good, but the last couple of times we've been in we have felt very rushed and unable to enjoy the meal properly as a result. There were 5 of us booked for 5:30pm and even at the time of booking we were told the table must be back no later than 7. We didn't order starters which was just as well as we never actually got food until we'd been there an hour, the order wasn't taken until we'd been seated for 45 mins. Since the time before we were reminded that we had to give the table back a couple of times, we rushed our food and then it transpired while waiting on the bill, that the next booking had cancelled and they asked us if we wanted another round of cocktails. We had places to be so we declined, but yeah thankfully none of us wanted desert as we wouldn't have had time to eat it in normal circumstances. I think if there are only a couple of you it would be fine but if you're looking to chat and enjoy some food and cocktails as an experience/evening out its likely not the place to go.

Absolutely love this place! Food,cocktails and service are all amazing. Very reasonably priced as well. All servers are super friendly and efficient. The twister cocktail 🍹🍸 and Paulo martini are so so good!!

Fun. Not exactly what I was expecting. You can’t really tell from the other reviews and pics. From the outside it looks like a gym, you walk in to what looks like a cross between a bingo hall and diner. Not somewhere to visit on a romantic date. But this was a staff do, so it kind of worked. Drink selection was ok, food was, well let’s say it was fun. How could I deny myself of a dish that claimed to be legendary?! I had Hawaiian pizza and pasta bolognese. The pasta was actually very tasty, impressed. The pizza however was very bland and something you’d expect to purchase from Aldi. Service average Food average Ambiance, wacky. Good for friends and fun.

Took a wee while to be served despite waitresses standing around our table but the place was so so busy so it's understandable. The portion sizes were so big and the food was really delicious. The food also came out so quick, it took under 10-20 minutes to come out. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. My only issue is that it is a very busy place and the tables are quite close so the chatty atmosphere can be slightly overwhelming if you want a calm dinner. We went on a Saturday though, so that's to be expected, especially with a place that has cocktails. Regardless, I loved it!

Me and my girlfriend have been here a few times and it’s quickly become my favourite restaurant in paisley. Reasonably priced and delicious for food and drink, do not skip on the cocktails! Cant wait to be back again soon

Very busy, so definitely worth booking. Staff very pleasant, welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, had to take a doggy bag home for the first time, I just couldn't leave the rest behind & it was just as delicious the next day. Only reduced star on atmosphere because I have sensory overload issues & noise levels were a lot for me a couple of times.

Party of 2 adults and 2 kids went for lunch. Although it was busy, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was a hassle for them, and they were great with the kids. The food was good, and the portions were large (even the kids meals!) We are already planning our next visit without the kids as the cocktails looked fantastic! Great overall experience

Quickly seated. Food speed was slow - see below. The garlic to just to hard and Mac ball basic and small for nearly £8. I felt that I had to push the staff to get things done. Only the one older member of staff looked interested in taking orders and service. Could see other customers struggling to get attention. The young staff many look like they were just pushing time. Not interested in helping. F&B people are there just before catching a flight so they need very fast service that means all staff need to understand that. It's not like we are there to pass time. Your board outside says food served in 7 mins..that's misleading. I was there when it was not busy and not understaffed and then it took 22 mins from order to table. Be real. Enough veggie and vegan options.

Very quick which is just what you want at the airport. Decent food at reasonable price. Our waitress Andrea was so lovely. She even gave us some insider holiday tips as we were going to her homeland.

Quite simply the worst Bloody Mary that I have ever had the misfortune to drink! Lukewarm, flavourless dishwater and that’s being generous… A disturbing, off-colour concoction with no discernible taste of tomato devoid of the anticipated peppery bite and savoury tang! Naturally a couple of juicy olives were missing as was a stalk of crisp celery. The only concession to garnish was a forlorn, translucent slice of lemon languishing at the bottom of the glass. I could taste the vodka, but that was about it! A disappointing experience all round as the breakfast roll ordered alongside arrived almost instantly and was cold as were the accompanying fried potatoes. The excuse for the Bloody Mary and flat white coffee also arrived after I’d all but finished my meal, which was particularly disappointing as the restaurant was almost empty… Still what would you expect for over 20 quid! I won’t be returning…

Very limited menu selection, most dishes unavailable due to shortages. 20+ minute wait to get seated but food delivered in 15 minutes. Otherwise standard venue for Frankie's. Not the fanciest choice at the airport but better than most.

Stopped in to have breakfast before our flight. Plenty of room around our table for us and bags so we did not feel closed in. Andrea was cheerful and smiling, even as she walked around and cleaned off the tables. Took the time to stop and talk to us several times to check on us and chat. The food was exceptional. Will definitely make this a stop on our return.

All of the staff were very hospitable and welcoming when we came in to the restaurant. When we handed them our TUI congratulations slip for our honeymoon they went far and beyond to ensure we had an even greater time and wished us a happy marriage. Arrived here for a quick breakfast. I was seated quickly and my order was taken promptly,I opted for the all day breakfast and and a Carmel latte. The breakfast was good, and portion was ample. My Carmel latte was delicious and was tempted to have another. I paid with card, and it was fairly cheap for my breakfast and coffee, £17. I would have paid more at Burger King for a burger meal deal. Very pleased and my tummy more so. Will easily come back again in future.

Excellent all round. A warm welcome from the smiling lady at the entrance included checking if I had any allergies and showed me to a table. Prompt and efficient service from providing a menu, taking my order and serving hot food and drink with a smile and commending my choices. A lovely calm and enjoyable atmosphere with personal service in a busy airport. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

Frankie and Benny's Glasgow Airport charging £5.60 for a 300ml bottle of Budweiser beer feels excessive. Given that a full pint of Budweiser costs a similar amount, the value for money is questionable. Customers might be discouraged from ordering beer due to the inflated price. It would be more reasonable to adjust the pricing to align with industry standards and offer a better experience for patrons.

Having breakfast at Frankie and Benny’s was a great start to the holiday. Our server Kai was friendly and helpful when selecting drinks.

With two hours to go until our flight to London we popped in at about 11am for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't even know that this company still existed. It was always a late'90s thing. For me, it was a great little menu with plenty that I'd have happily chosen. I opted for the Brisket Hash which came with onions and eggs. Food was superbly tasty but let down by it being only really luke-warm. My wife's was the opposite...really hot but served with fridge-cold avocado. A bit of a disappoint. I did mention to this our waiting person when paying...she was apologetic enough. The really good thing was that there was no-one here on laptops - (making a filter coffee last for six hours) whilst using the restaurants power supply to charge all of their electrical devices.

What a lovely evening my partner and I have had tonight in The Little Steak House a warm welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter this intimate little restaurant, a cozy homely feel, the staff could not have been nicer and the food was excellent and so was the rioja. We usually have a main and dessert but both of us were full to bursting after our mains my partner had 12oz fillet that was butter tender an I had the full rack of ribs that was also beautifully tender. No faults at all for us we thoroughly enjoyed our night, thanks Lauren and team.

As mentioned by others, the staff here was very helpful and easy to work with. Their skill is a reflection of the quality of the entire establishment. We will definitely return every time we come to visit Scotland, from Texas. And as a Texan who judges every BBQ by their ribs, this chef absolutely nailed it. Lastly, the ribeye which my wife had was so tender that she cut it with her fork!

Second visit for us and this little place didn't disappoint great food and really friendly staff. We were encouraged by the waitress to order the Châteaubriand and there was a little wait and because of that we received free bread and dips when the steak arrived it was everything we wanted and the onion rings were amazing

Called in for a glass of wine with an early dinner. Had the set 2 course dinner for £13. Fish and chips then lemon posset. My friend had a much more expensive steak then a more elaborate strawberry and cream confection, also with shortcake. We both got just what we wanted and friendly service. Will go back.

Cozy dining room and friendly, helpful staff make this a favourite spot for us. This celiac needs to eat gluten free and the staff are knowledgeable about gf options. A shared fryer so no chips for me. Daub of beef was delicious with a rich demi glacé and burger was juicy and tasty.

I had their lunch set and the food did feel authentic and didn't have the usual saucy/ sweet flavor that curries served at many Indian restaurants in Glasgow have. The service was quick and definitely good value for money. Definitely going back more often.

Loved the hospitality and taste! Was here as part of a group tour and we came here for dinner on 2 nights. Yummy Paneer Karahi. Malaidar paneer was great too. Quick refill in the buffet tubs, there was always a person to ensure the food was always available for the guests.

Excellent restaurant with one of the best Indian Authentic food near Glasgow. The owner is an Indian and was very friendly to us. The supporting staff was also treating us very nicely. We were having a buffet and as much as I have eaten in Indian restaurants in London, I've never tasted food this close to homemade Indian food as they are serving. Everything was delicious. The ambience is nice and clean. Nice place to visit with family. Please do visit if you are looking for amazing Indian taste. Next time I visit Glasgow I know exactly where to have my lunch and dinner. 💯

Firangi has amazing ambience perfect for celebrating any occasion like birthdays, anniversary or any kind of gathering. Food is so delicious, served with perfect presentation and service is quick. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and all the staffs are super friendly and they help in choosing right food as per your taste. We highly recommend it.

Went there for the first time with a couple of friends. Having asked all of us what we liked to eat, we went with the owners recommendations. The food was amazing. Lots of tastes coming through in the sauces and the owner was passionate in answering our questions about the ingredients. We'll be back for sure. Been back a few times now and the food is always authentic and delicious. I found this tandoori salmon and its absolutely delicious. I had mine with rice and a curry sauce. I think I'm addicted.

The food was lovely, and there was a good selection on their menus. Nice drinks and cocktails selection too. There was an 18th birthday at another table, and the staff brought their cake out and sang. It was a lovely and inviting atmosphere. I'd definitely return.

I called around 1930hrs to enquire about a table for 2 people and to my surprise, there was one available. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty busy and the atmosphere was very nice and warm. We were seated promptly and a drinks order was taken which gave us time to decide what we were having to eat. As I am gluten free, I was amazed to be told that the majority of the pasta/risotto dishes can be or already are gluten free which was fantastic news! Whilst ordering our food, one of us mentioned garlic bread and the waiter said that we can have gluten free garlic bread to accompany our food and I'm glad we ordered it as it was perfect in my opinion. As everything is made fresh on the premises, you may expect to wait slightly longer for your food but in all honesty, I'd have waited half an hour for my food as it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back and we'll be recommending this place to our friends and family!! Thanks for a truly enjoyable experience!

Very warm welcome from staff the minute you walk in the door. Extensive menu choice including steaks etc. Not all Italian which was great as my husband doesn't like dishes with sauces. Very intimate setting but cosy. Staff were attentive and polite throughout our whole visit, couldn't do enough for us. Food was absolutely delicious!!!!! Cooked to perfection! Highly recommend a visit....we were in Paisley visiting family but would definitely book again if ever back in Paisley 🥰

Went here with a couple of great friends for dinner, absolutely amazing, from the minute we arrived until we left we were looked after impeccably, food was amazing from start to finish and the atmosphere and service from the staff was superb 👌, portion sizes were big and incredible quality, just one of the most incredible Italian restaurant I’ve ever visited! First time back in many years after disappointing meals and service. Huge improvement in all areas since that visit. Food was tasty. I requested a bit of a mix of 2 main course pastas, chef was asked, reply was no problem and the dish was delicious. Service was friendly, non-intrusive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, our auld heids didn't get a calculator out to properly divide the bill so I do feel we undertipped our lovely server (tall, slim, long hair, not Paisley accent) but promise to make it up next time we are in!!!

Pop in last night without a reservation, the young lady was very pleasant and found us a table. The service and staff were excellent but unfortunately the food wasn't up to the previous standards that we have experienced. The mussels were over seasoned too much salt, look closely at the pasta hard to find any bacon bearing in mind the cost I feel the chef could have been more generous.

Visited Pendulum Bar & Grill for dinner and it did not disappoint! Servers were ever so friendly and checked up on us well. The food was excellent, in particular the steak pie and tablet sundae that I had. The vibe was relaxed and we ended up spending a couple of hours at the table with a lovely coffee at the end. I would definitely recommend visiting and excited to try more of the menu.

Great value restaurant in the heart of Paisley. Food was tasty, reasonable sized portions and a good selection on the menu. Forgot to take pics of the mains but they were excellent as was the starters.

Brilliant stopped here for Brunch , lovely clean and welcoming place. Excellent food and great value , hubby had classic breakfast I had poached eggs avocado on toast, really good selection to choose from, all came with tea or coffee and a fruit juice. Classic breakfast had 11 items ,12 if you include toast, for £9.95 we went on Tuesday so not very busy but still had a nice atmosphere, 2nd visit here and will defo be back

Food was nice but nothing special. I had chicken skewers which, because the chunks of chicken were so big, were a bit dry. I don't like either sauce offered with the meal which probably didn't help. Nice, friendly staff and a good atmosphere (Sunday lunchtime). I would definitely return and would also recommend it as my dining companions both loved their meals. I do think the £6.99 surcharge for the Sunday roast is a bit steep too.

Nice place to spend a few hours with a close view of Paisley's intriguing and powerful Abbey (see picture from different elevation) Scottish themed menu, a chance to try some old classics like Cullen Skink and Beef Olives should you want to. Great service and lively atmosphere, an 80th birthday party and a Baby Shower in progress while we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Recommend booking. Wander around the Paisley Abbey before or after eating a hearty lunch.

We booked up after hearing great reviews from our Friends, and they were right, we had an exceptional meal at brilliant prices, there's not many places will give you a 3 course meal at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality for £25 each!! The staff were very busy yet very fast with service, we couldn't fault there attentiveness what so ever!! The restaurant faces The Paisley Abbey and sitting looking out the window is a delightful view!! We will be back very soon, and we'll be bringing our Families too. Thankyou for a faultless meal!!

First time visit at this restaurant. It was busy for a Monday lunchtime but the staff were courteous and friendly. I was I. A party of 7 and we were treated well. The baked mushrooms were a firm favourite for starters and I can personally vouch for the liver pate. The chutney went well with it and the toasted sourdough was the perfect accompaniment. Moving on to the main course the salmon was in demand and it was delicious. The chicken and haggis was also tasty. The wine was limited but we made the best of it and enjoyed both red and white. The espresso martini is worth ordering along with their sticky toffee pudding though consider sharing as it is plentiful. Lovely coffee to finish off. The staff were lovely and allowed to us to sit in after our meal making it a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. I would definitely come back for more and great value. A three course lunch comes in at just £20.

Classiest food in Paisley- and for great value, too. Great portions with an overall excellent menu. Everything with haggis is amazing. Desserts were sublime. From now on this will be my go-to to show my guests and prove what Paisley has to offer.

Very pleasant, and attentive staff. Restaurant surroundings were inviting, and background music was pitched just right to allow for a welcoming and relaxing environment. Food was good value for money. Overall, a very positive dining experience. I'd definitely recommend to others and be happy to return in the future to relive the relaxing dining experience.

The food here was very well presented and tasted fantastic, the starters and the main course were both wonderfull and excellent quality. The service was brilliant too. We finished off with cocktails instead of dessert and they have great range too choose from, I would definitely go back here again. 5/5

We were here for lunch as we have been here before and it was lovely, however on this occasion we were disappointed. The starter we got was the combo for two the chicken goujons that were just processed chicken dippers and not very good ones at that! The mains weren't as good either. The place was cold with a draft as well! I am hoping these are going to be sorted in the near future.

Not as nice as the old one. Took staff just shy of a hour to realise that they had lost our order so had to wait an additional 15+ on top for it to be made. The place wasn’t overly busy so should of been easy to of notice. The food it’s self was good from the portion to the quality. I’d be more likely to recommend for a pint rather than food though. Staff did apologise and discounted which was nice.

Good food, reasonable prices, on last visit the service was very poor. We waited a long time for our food ,kids were with us and got very restless. Two of our friends ordered 2 cokes which they obviously forgot about, I had to go to one of the waitress's direct to remind her. Apart from the service I enjoyed the food.

Nice pub in centre of town. Had lunch for 5 of us but didn't enjoy, frozen food and overcooked . Had dessert also but wasn't impressed with that either . Would go again for only a drink. Maybe it just was a bad day they had although It was quiet in restaurant food area. Nice large room and close to station.

Nice pub, lovely staff but the food wasn't great to be honest, chicken goujons were tasteless as was the macaroni that my daughter had. My son's lasagne wasn't great either. Hubby had a chilli burger which he enjoyed. So 1 out of 4 meals was good.

We spent two weeks in the hotel next door so this was the obvious choice for our evening meals and breakfast was included with the hotel price. Can’t fault the food and the staff were lovely :) As a lifelong vegetarian (not through choice) I can be hard to feed every day for two weeks, it gets a bit boring if the menu isn’t very big. Brewers Fayre had me covered. I can honestly say I’ve tried all their veggie stuff and it was excellent. Husband enjoyed his meaty meals too and service was very good. Some of the tables turned out to not be wheelchair friendly due to their height or the leg width being too narrow but there were others suitable so no problems.

Staff always so pleasant and nice every time I arrive. Great for breakfast, lunch or just to meet people over a coffee. Free parking now v hassle of paying then claiming back and honestly think it's brilliant.

Called there whilst staying next door at The Premier Inn. The place is really nice and very welcoming. The food we ordered was fish pie. It was ok but nothing special. The service was great and very helpful. Had a lovely pint of Guinness

Took 15 minutes to order food. It's another half hour to get food. Wanted carvery, nothing left at 5pm. Meal, i did get combo chicken and ribs, lukewarm chips, double stack burger, ordered extra bacon, should have been two slices, got one. Mix grill had no tomatoes, pea cold, lukewarm chips. Nachos starter had no chills on it. Someone needs to pay attention to the wait for ordering and service. Also, the kitchen needs to pay attention to the heat of food, plus what advertise on the plate should be on the plate. Did not get told no coke zero also, for the refillable glass.

Friendly staff, good selection of drinks and the food is decent. The only reason for the 3 star rating instead of 5 is the lack of Sky Sports/Bt Sports.... on game nights we were having to go to other pubs to watch the football. We would've stayed and spent our money here if they would just invest in the sports channels like most pubs! It's 2022...

Absolutely awful. I travelled over 100 miles to have Christmas Dinner with my sister and partner for the 1st time in 42 years. what a shambles from beginning to end. What was suppose to be a special time for family was ruined. Its the season of good will to all men so I will forgive but hold your heads down in shame.😔

Very disappointed in the food and service. There weren't many people in the pub and the food took 50 mins to come out (4 adults, 2 children). When the food finally came out, my steak was stone cold, chips were luke warm. I returned it, and when it came back, it was missing the onion rings that went back, and it was only like warm. Horrific meal, and probably one of the worst meals I've had in about 5 years.

I visited here on the 16th Dec, because i had a free meal voucher lol. The staff were very polite and helpful, the venue was clean and tidy, and nothing seemed to much trouble. I ordered from the christmas menu, the food was great, tasted nice, was hot, and there was loads on the plate. Would I visit again 100% yes, would I recommend... again 100% yes.

I was staying in the premier inn next door and work had paid for my meal here. On arrival I was greeted pleasantly by the staff and shown to my seat and told of the food ordering process, with all food and drinks ordered at the bar. I chose nachos to start and then a mixed grill. I placed the order and both courses arrived in good time with a gap between. The food was well cooked and tasty. I can’t drily any of it thank you so much!

This is what my child was served at this restaurant. Second time I have been and both times the food is really unacceptable, don’t waste your time here

Went here for dinner. Excellent choice of mains for a good price if you eat before 6pm. Food very very tasty. All very fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We were in for Christmas Dinner, it was so good we came back on Boxing Day. Derek was on Christmas Day and made us so welcome, Alan was on Boxing Day & made us just as welcome. Great Staff, Great Food & lovely clean & tidy Restaurant.

A nice pub with a decent range of menu options, just across the road from Paisley Canal railway station, hence the name. It seems to cater more for functions, being a little bit out of the centre of Paisley. Several tables and a whole section were reserved when I came in for lunch, but there was plenty of room left. My smoked salmon sourdough sandwich was nice, and the salad was very good, but I found the bread a little dry. Service was very quick. Prices were slightly steep for pub grub, but the quality more or less justified it. There's ample parking out the back, with ramped access from that side.

Lovely place to dine at with that special person or if you want a family outing with the kids, good atmosphere and lovely music to listen to! Good bands play here and a really good weekend night out.

Great night staff were top class and looked after us well and good prices too

We popped in here for some dinner and wasn't expecting it to be as lovely inside. It was a Sunday afternoon, there was a wee jazz band playing and the place was lovely. Not busy at all. We had starter of soup of the day, which was just lovely. I could have eaten the whole pot. I then had chilli beef with rice, again it was lovely, not very spicy though. My husband had steak pie which he also said he really enjoyed. We finished off with Strawberries and meringue.. It was amazing... The staff were absolutely lovely, we didn't wait long for food and I don't have any complaints. Would definitely be back again.. The soup and dessert alone would bring me back. Lovely place!

Had a wonderful evening in the function area celebrating my daughter's hen party. The staff were extremely helpful and set the room up for us arriving. The DJ played music that got us all up dancing and we had a fab night. Great atmosphere and would recommend for a small celebration.

Really like it here! I know this sounds weird but also feels kinda Xmasy with all the lights etc :) but equally fab to sit outside in summer. Good cocktail menu, good prices, nice staff. Will continue to visit whenever I'm through in Paisley.
