<p> Kyle Edward Dickens, 81, of Manchester, MD passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at his daughter's home in Hampstead, MD.</p><p><br></p><p>Born March 28, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Guy Edward Dickens and the late Katherine Olivia (née Tracey) Dickens. He was the husband of Linda Ann Dickens, his wife of nearly 13 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Dickens was a graduate of Westminster High School in Westminster, MD. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam Era. He was employed by BGE, first as a lineman then later as a foremen, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Westminster Post 31 of the American Legion; AMVETS in Hanover, PA; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1406 in Hanover; the Dug Hill Rod and Gun Club; the North Carroll Rod and Gun Club; and the Loyal Order of Moose, Westminster Lodge #1381. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and boating. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughters and son-in-law, Stacey and Lee Walsh of Hampstead, Norma Jean Waggoner of York, PA, and Joni Dickens of Monet, MO; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald H. Dickens of Westminster. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Duensing; and brothers, Guy E. Dickens, Jr. and Charles R. Dickens. </p><p><br></p><p>At his request, the family will celebrate his life privately. Arrangements are entrusted to ELINE FUNERAL HOME in Hampstead.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, Attn: Donor Services, 225 N. Michigan Ave. 17th floor, Chicago, IL .</p>
