Ligue 1: PSG 2-1 Angers - Mbappe penalty gives hosts late win

The whistle blows and you can hear the sighs of relief around the Parc des Princes.

Angers will feel hard done by as PSG come from behind to take all three points after VAR awarded them a late, late penalty which Kylian Mbappe duly tucked away.

With five minutes remaining, Kylian Mbappe has the chance to put PSG ahead from the penalty spot.

Here we go. The referee is checking the pitchside monitor for that block from Capelle. He's looking for handball.

It's getting tasty inside the last 10 minutes. First Mauro Icardi's header is blocked by Pierrick Capelle, then Stephane Bahoken has a decent chance at the other end.

PSG have another corner as Colin Dagba's cross hits Pierrick Capelle. Ander Herrera takes it quick, but Angers easily clear.

Mauricio Pochettino makes two changes and there are huge cheers from the home fans as Juan Bernat returns from that serious knee injury. He replaces Abdou Diallo as Rafinha makes way for Georginio Wijnaldum.

Ander Herrera is crying out for the ball on the edge of the area but Kylian Mbappe goes for the low cross into the six yard box instead and Angers clear the danger.

Before tonight, PSG were unbeaten in 25 top-flight meetings with Angers, with their last league defeat coming way back 1975.

This would be a famous win if the visitors can hang on.

It's a big chance for PSG as Rafinha fires wide on his favoured left foot. He should have done better there.
