My Mother's Eyes - Holocaust Memories of a Young Girl

written by Anna Ornstein

The book is a collection of memories by Anna Ornstein, MD (a psychoanalyst and a Hungarian Jewish survivor of the Holocaust) from before, during, and after World War II. Storytelling was one way for Anna to share her memories about the Holocaust with her family and others.

On May 5th, the beginning of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day),

Miriam Ornstein, MD will read selections from the book and provide an opportunity for observance and discussion.

This program is brought to the Franklin Public Library in partnership  with Temple Etz Chaim Sisterhood.

For each donation of $25 dollars, you will receive a copy of My Mother's Eyes at the event. A portion of your gift will be donated by the Sisterhood to the Terezin Music Foundation.
