Our Mission
RESCUEDohio serves dogs in need by assisting partner shelters and providing comprehensive care until a compatible home is found.
Our efforts are fueled entirely by volunteers. We share a passion to transform lives through educating our community and providing second chances for every dog who enters our foster-based program.
ADOPT
All adopters must complete an application in its entirety before discussing the potential adoption of a dog.
FOSTER
Fostering is a huge part of our volunteer base. We don't have a physical location with hours of operation. All dogs are in foster homes primarily located in Columbus, Ohio.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers evaluate applications, coordinate vet care, answer emails, write grants, schedule events, transport dogs, take dogs to adoption events, walk dogs, and much more!
DONATE
Monetary and non-monetary donations help cover the costs associated with the dogs in our care. Our organization is 100% volunteer-based.
