foamboy is a Portland-based pop duo comprised of producer Wil Bakula and vocalist Katy Ohsiek. Wil and Katy worked together for many years in other projects before creating their debut pop album, My Sober Daydream, in 2020 and releasing it in 2021. My Sober Daydream has launched this duo into a new stage of their careers. Foamboy has graced some of Portland’s favorite stages, including Mississippi Studios, Holocene, and Doug Fir Lounge.
​
foamboy released their sophomore record Eating Me Alive in March 2024. While the new project still has that dreamy and dance-y nature to it, it paints a much darker sonic landscape, as Katy’s lyrics lament the rise and fall of a complicated and crushing relationship. The themes of the album also describe reckoning with the aftermath of public art, discovering queer identity, rejecting heteronormative narratives, surviving grad school, and giving up in a good way. The album contains a diverse offering of songs: the longer disco tracks the group is known for, short dreamy interludes, wavy electronic ballads, and distorted psych-inspired pop tunes. It is very much a reflection of the group working with a full seven-piece band for the last year, and contains a concoction of both electronic and live instruments. While the song aesthetics are varied, Wil took care in crafting the album as one unit, weaving the songs in and out of each other. Selections from Eating Me Alive have played on KCRW and KEXP, placed on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, and led to press coverage from the Portland Mercury and Willamette Week, the latter describing foamboy as one of Portland’s “Best New Bands.” The band is currently playing frequent shows on the west coast and is in the process of recording the next LP.

Thelma and the Sleaze is an independent all female, queer southern rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The group
is the brainchild of lead vocalist and guitar player Lauren "LG" Gilbert and features an evolving cast of A-team players
to back her up for an unforgettable live experience.

LG is the embodiment of hustle. As the driving force behind Thelma and The Sleaze, she is the songwriter, the visionary, the take-no-shit-from-anyone front woman that is single handedly keeping rock and roll alive.
​
Thelma and The Sleaze has been touring the US for years building a legion of fans, affectionally called her creepers. The growing social media presence, the hit podcast, the features with Yamaha Guitars are really all the result of her incredible songwriting, visceral guitar playing, and the guts to deliver on her vision of what Rock and Roll should be.

LG has also launched two successful seasons of their Podcast
“Queen of Shit Mountain”. Each episode features legendary musicians such as Tanya Tucker, Brittany Howard, Juliana Hatfield, Kate Pierson, Lori Barber, Patty Schemel, Mary Ramirez and Margo Price.

The Dollyrots are no stranger to success. The band has hit the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts multiple times, they’ve been featured in movies and TV shows and they’ve shared stages with some of punk and rock’s biggest names. Their 2004 debut was released by legendary punk label Lookout! while the next two came out through Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records. Long a staple in rotation on Sirius/XM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage, the band’s consistent output perked up the ears of Wicked Cool founder Stevie Van Zandt. “Their songwriting has reached a consistent level of greatness,” he says. They are now working with the label, an alliance which followed several DIY, fan-funded releases.
The partnership with Wicked Cool has also extended to the radio, where Kelly has held down the position of morning show DJ since 2019 on The Underground Garage, another Stevie Van Zandt creation. The Kelly Ogden Program airs every weekday morning on Sirius/XM Channel 21. In addition to fronting The Dollyrots, Ogden has also appeared in or shared her voice in TV and film as has the band, including ABC’s Schooled, Netflix’s Nimona, CSI: NY, Greek, Disney’s Brave, Easy A, a live performance on The Price Is Right, Dickinson, Billions, and Girl Trash: All Night Long. She also shares a side project with Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick called Jaret and Kelly.

Vision Video is a post-punk goth rock band from Athens, Georgia that injects modern malaise into classic sounds of the late 70's and 80's.
The band pays homage to classics like the Chameleons and The Cure, while also bringing a refreshing modern element to the genre.
Thematically their music explores the effects of trauma on the human psyche and finding stability and agency in an insane world. Having served in Afghanistan with the army and as a firefighter in the civilian world, lead singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon is no stranger to the darker proclivities of humanity and death itself. "I wanted to write music that helped people remember that it's okay to not be okay, but that also doesn't shy away from taking a stern look at the darker aspects of our flawed human existence." says Gannon.
The band's first two records were met with much critical praise, such as that from Pitchfork stating they create "dreamy tune tailor-made for the sort of wallflower who sprints to the dancefloor the instant the DJ drops “Age of Consent” or “Primary” at Goth Night"
Their debut LP "Inked in Red" and second LP "Haunted Hours", were recorded and mixed by Tom Ashton of The March Violets at his Sub Von Studios in Athens, Georgia.Vision Video will soon record their next LP "Modern Horror" at Maze Studios in Atlanta headed by Grammy award winning producer Ben Allen.

American alternative country favorite Wayne "The Train" Hancock is that rare breed of traditionalist, one who imbues his retro obsessions with such high energy and passion that his songs never feel like museum pieces he's trying desperately to preserve. Hancock is most often compared to Hank Williams, and he can indeed be a hardcore honky tonker, but there's more to him than that: he also displays a genuine affinity for stomping rockabilly, Western swing, blues, and old-timey country à la Jimmie Rodgers. Plus, he also throws in the occasional pop standard in the manner of Willie Nelson's classic Stardust album. Hancock's devotion to classic country sounds, coupled with his strong aversion to the Nashville hit-making machine, earned him an ardent following among alternative country fans (from both the country and rock sides of the movement), as well as a fair amount of critical acclaim.

TITHE is a Portland, Oregon based trio that constructs an unorthodox amalgamation of death metal, black metal, and grind without straying too far from the fundamentals of aggressiveness and depravity. Conceived in 2017 by vocalist/guitarist Matt Eiseman and drummer Kevin Swartz, the band spent its first years writing and releasing a self-titled EP before finding bassist Alex Huddleston at the end of 2018. This lineup went on to release the debut LP “Penance” in May 2020, which despite the challenge of releasing in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, was well-received. The album explores the themes of psychedelics, mental illness and the human condition.
TITHE’s sophomore LP “Inverse Rapture” evolves upon the themes of Penance and morphs into a more angry, raw, and disharmonious embodiment. The trio’s most incendiary material to date, “Inverse Rapture” maintains the blazing tempos TITHE is known for with dreary, lowering passages strewn throughout. Produced/mixed by Fester, mastered by Adam Gonsalves and featuring the macabre art of Abomination Hammer, “Inverse Rapture” is a complete sonic exhibition of cold-blooded savagery and anguish from beginning to end.

Lovataraxx was formed in 2013, while crossing the Williamsburg bridge during a Spring break. Staring at the grey and pink stripes of the bridge's structure, the French duet decided to deal with a rollercoaster of emotions with music and lyrics. Lovataraxx explores the depths of a minimal wave, dark electronic and post-punk music. On stage, the two musicians are surrounded by corrosive synthesizers, sharp drum machines and a bass drowned in chorus effects.
Straddling both eighties and nineties influences, Lovataraxx's esthetic is nurtured by greek mythology, sci-fi- K.Dick - like novels, and romantic poetry. Enchanting voices, Carpenter's like synth melodies : it all sounds simulaneously strange and familiar, it all fluctuates between the delusive feelings of the blind hunky-dory days and the long despairs of a lost generation. The audience dance, galvanized by the stage presence of a front woman with her boxer's braids, switching from english to german language on high speed beats. The duet plays often live with a Vjay sending loop figures in his old TV screens. Lovataraxx's second LP named Sophomore was released on Cold Transmission label in April 2024.

MC Chris is most widely known for his reoccurring character MC P Pants on Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force where he was also an animator and writer. He’s been featured in the Aqua Teen movie, the video game and most recently on a series of You Tube videos called Aqua Donk Side Pieces. He’s also starred on several Adult Swim series including The Brak Show and Sealab 2021. When he’s not voicing some of his iconic late-night characters, he’s a full-time touring rapper.
A pioneer of the hip hop subgenre Nerdcore, MC Chris has worked with the likes of Talib Kweli, Andrew WK, and Donald Glover. His fans include the likes of Gerard Way, Post Malone and T-Pain and was even sampled by Run the Jewels for the latest Aqua Teen movie Plantasm. He’s toured with Reggie and Full Effect, Ninja Sex Party, Warped Tour, appeared on a GWAR album, performed at the gathering of the Juggalos and even had his own Honda commercial.

His music has been featured on several Adult Swim Shows and commercials, Broad City and America’s Funniest Home Videos. mc chris is the widely accepted soundtrack to nerd culture. Not only does he rhyme about what nerds love most, but he was one of the first performers to encourage nerds to take pride in themselves and what they care about. He’s a full-time single father to his son, Tony, and lives in Los Angeles.

The group released its debut album in 1997 on PSF Records (Japan), and it was selected as one of the year's best albums in the The Wire magazine (UK).
