I miss my father a great deal and think about him every day. My father was a loving and giving man, with boundless optimism, a sharp intelligence, a thirst for knowledge, and a fearsome drive and ambition. He was an excellent golfer and when I was 12, he and I won the Father-Son Golf Tournament at the Fairview Country Club. He was disappointed that I ended up preferring tennis to golf. My positive qualities are all owed to my Dad's influence. My only regret is that too many years were robbed from him, his family and his friends due to Alzheimer's.

Debbie & I enjoyed talking to Philip via telephone for many years, especially about our family tree. I can only remember meeting Philip once, at a bar mitzvah celebration in California. Whenever one of my bands made a new CD or DVD, I always shared it with him. (He always wanted two copies of each one.) Overall, Philip had an amazing life. I think his passing has created a significant void. Members of his generation lived so much more than we do today, leaving behind so many contributions to the American way of life. Eventually, Philip will be missed by people who didn't even know of him, but will still benefit in some way from his contributions to society.
