Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lot to visit in just half a day. The guide was amazing sharing a lot of cool information about the Dutch culture and history coupling it with funny jokes. Even if the weather wasn’t good I really enjoyed it. 100% recommended!

The site was amazing but very busy as it was a school holiday when we were there. The working windmill was very cool to see on the inside. You can see much of Holland's history in one place. All displays are presented very well.

Beautiful trip. After we found the meeting spot. Tripadvisor provided very poor details on initial meeting point. There were 11 of us waiting in the wrong spot, so it wasn't just my husband and me. Please give better directions. After this initial mishap, the trip was amazing. We traveled in vans instead of a large bus which made the experience so much more personal. The clog shoes and the cheese "factory" were so fun and the windmills were beautiful. We had to pay extra to go inside a windmill, so inclusion of this in the price would have been acceptable to us. The canal cruise was ok - the tea and snacks before the cruise were outstanding. Having lots of time to walk around in both stops was much appreciated.

Leidse (lights on) was our tour guide and made the tour fun, interactive and full of fun facts. He knew all about Amsterdam and kept the ‘SMALL (8 people) engaged. The places we visited were absolutely breathtaking, especially ‘Venice of The Netherlands’. If you want to get away from the busy of Amsterdam - this is the perfect tour-you will relish in the beauty of the areas and simplicity, along with Leidse’s humor. Thank you

Elias was prompt and on time. He was very considerate to my daughter and me. He took the time to ask us questions about what we wanted so he could tailor the tour to our wishes. Very knowledgeable and plenty of information. I would highly recommend Elias to anyone.

Teun was a wonderful guide and driver on our day tour of the windmills and the beautiful countryside. We first went to see a collection of windmills at Zaans Schans where Teun gave a very complete description of the design and workings of the windmills. We followed that with a trip to a cheese factory and saw a demonstration of the manufacture of wooden shoes. We had a lovely lunch in a small town and continued our tour of the rural area. I would highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing time we had, ticked every box and was taken off the usual circus to smaller intimate sights. Ali, our driver was so full of knowledge and super friendly and really enjoyed showing us around. There was only 2 of us on this tour, so it felt like a private tour. Thankyou for taking us and delivering your promise of a real Dutch experience. Don’t hesitate and just book, you will be thanking me for my honest review.

The nine (9) hour Keukenhof Tulip Gardens and Zaanse Windmill Tour was spectacular. We spent the morning in Zaanse viewing the windmills and historical village, and visiting a local dairy farm/ cheese and wooden clog manufacturing facility. Each stop provided its own historical interest and photographic opportunities. We then traveled on our private bus to the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens. Let me start by saying that we missed the height of the blooming season by several weeks (an early Spring in the Netherlands). That said the gardens are spectacular. It is hard to believe that the gardens are only open 2.5 months each year during the blooming season. Even without the full glory of the tulips the grounds are beautiful. To compensate for an early Spring, the gardens provided hundreds of temporary planters filled with beautiful tulips and daffodils to appease the late flock of tourists. The sculpture and rhododendrons (and other woody flowering bushes) are amazing. We took hundreds of photographs to remember the experience. To top off our experience, we purchased five dozen tulip and daffodil bulbs that will be shipped to my home in October that I will enjoy for years to come. A wonderful day well worth the price.
