Physical Appearance[]

Chica is a yellow chicken animatronic with an orange beak and mismatched eyes. Her left eye is purple, while her right eye is larger, yellowish in color, and seems to droop loosely. She has thick black eyebrows and thin "feathers" sticking out of the top of her head and tied with a pink bow. Her beak opens wide, revealing the mouth of the endoskeleton inside.

Chica has a chubby body and wears a dirty white bib that covers most of her torso, decorated with confetti and the phrase "Let's eat!!!" Unlike her original counterpart she now wears a pair of pink shorts made of a shiny material. Her legs are entirely orange, and thin with a ribbed texture and three silver talons on each foot.

Her arms are on longer segmented at the elbow, and on her left hand she holds a cupcake in the form of a little puppet, with a chef's outfit and a black mustache. Its eyes are yellow, resembling Chica's right eye.

Personality[]

Little is known about Chica's on-stage personality. Chica first appeared in the short film FNaF Plus #3- Quiet Hours where she stood idly beside Freddy, hidden in the darkness. She then appeared in the next short, Stage Performance in which she sang "Follow Me" by Bjorn Lynne until the lights darkened, and her voice slowed eerily as the curtains closed. She then made a brief appearance in Breaking + Entering when the protagonist approached her and attempted to use their "ghost detector" on her. The song "Say Goodbye to Spring" plays, and Chica appears to have leaned toward the protagonist slightly.

In Five Nights at Freddy's Plus, it seemed Chica would have taken on a role similar to hers in the original Five Nights at Freddy's, wandering the pizzeria before approaching the player's office from the right hallway.

Trivia[]

  • Chica's mismatched eyes may be a visual reference to Nightmare Chica from Five Nights at Freddy's 4, who also had a dysfunctional right eye.
    • Her pink shorts may also be inspired from Toy Chica's design in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
    • Her slightly broken jaw may be inspired by Withered Chica's broken jaw in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
  • It's possible that Chica's right eye is a spare originally meant to be used for the Cupcake. It's unknown why it was used instead of a spare of her own eye.
  • Chica's Cupcake is based on Earl Schmerle, Rolfe DeWolfe's puppet sidekick from the Rock-afire Explosion. His chef motif may be a reference to Pasqually the Chef from Chuck E. Cheese.
    • It might also be a reference to Bon-Bon being a puppet for Funtime Freddy.
