David was the best server!! So helpful, outgoing, and a joy to talk to. The food was amazing as well!! Highly recommend the crostino app.

Food was not good - pasta swimming in sauce (like a stew) and the food quality was poor - chicken had a weird texture - whole thing tasted like a frozen meal reheated. Worse than the food quality was the attempt by the restaurant to scam the customer on the gratuity. Based on a previous review indicating the restaurant automatically puts on an 18% tip I was looking for notice of that but nowhere on the bill did it indicate a tip had already been applied. The server also did not make us aware of that practice. Further, we were not presented with an itemized bill - simply a total amount due - (if someone didn’t know the 18% gratuity was automatic then they would also be tipping on the food amount and the applied gratuity!) so it is clearly an attempt to hide this assessment. When we asked the server if gratuity had already been assessed, she did not reply with a direct yes. Instead she said, “well, an amount has been applied but if you want to let that “ride” or add more then that would be fine.” Typically, I would tip at least 20% but after this underhanded behavior I “let it ride”.

Table was ready when we arrived. Had a great server - very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the wine supply was low and it took several tries to secure an adequate choice. It was a fine choice to get access to the theater where we were going. Sadly, the restaurant was very expensive.

Went pre-concert. There were only two servers and a barkeep for the whole place. Our server, Melvin, was pleasant but very busy. The food was just slightly less than ok and vastly overpriced. Branzino was fishy, overcooked, and might have been a bit freezer-burned. The "from the garden" pizza was grilled veggies on premade pita loaves under huge viscous glops of what was alleged to be Caesar dressing but more closely resembled spackle. There are much better places close by.

Really poor service. Asked for Latte was told no specialty coffee drinks even though there was a picture on the menu. Informed machine was down. Asked for iced tea, again told that wasn’t available either, even though it was on the menu. Then one of the people in our party had to wait for her breakfast, insisting we should eat. We did. When we were finished her meal finally arrived.

No Pinot wine in stock. Wine we did order was 1/4 of glass for $18. Crazy. Appetizer with grapes on top really bad. Don't order. Wedge salad had 3 cherry tomatoes with no flavor. 2 apps 4 glasses of wine and 2 salads $220. Way too costly for what we got. I will not be back nor recommend.

We made a reservation on the night of John Batiste’s sold out show. There was no table ready for the 2 of us except a large one at the back. We were seated, then the hostess (lovely personality) said we’d be better off at the bar. We took seats there. Bartenders barely aknowledged us. The arancini was cold. Sent it back and it was still cold. Antipasto was lackluster. And service was grumpy and unsmiling. Plus, we watched bartenders handling ice cubes with their bare hands!

Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone from bad to worse. The tomato basil soup was lumpy and flavorless. The Caesar salad dressing was basically liquid anchovies and the once pretty good Bolognese is now dreadful and last, but not least the lemon cake is awful too. The service at this restaurant has always been bad, and that is the only thing that is still consistent.

We had a bad experience onMay 2. No one was available to seat us. We waited half an hour to get drinks and place order. Food never came until we got up and asked. Then we only got half our order = 2 out of 4 items. They did not charge us for the other too. Our waiter had way too many tables. We will hesitate to come back altho we like it before concerts.
