- PK55Wisconsin60 contributionsGreat beer. Try the coffee pale ale and cedar sour. Cool place. Flights available, and merch and canned beer to purchase.Written April 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dwayne SEdmonton, Canada38 contributionsThe restaurant is an old rail station that makes it an interesting environment. They had live entertainment playing and the food and beer was excellent. The Derailed pizza was on the spicy side so it was great with beer.Written September 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fussgussysmomAlbuquerque, NM425 contributionsAs former Superiorites, we always stop in with family to catch up on what's been happening around the area and visit with Walt and his wife, Sarah. All the staff here, including Michelle P. (former bartender from the Palace Bar) are first-rate, customer-friendly, and efficient. You can tell they love what they do! Prices are very reasonable and they are right around the corner on E. 5th St. from the Old Firehouse & Police Museum here in the east end of Superior. There are also 5 slot machines located at this bar.
Architecture: Even if you're not in the mood for alcohol, this bar is located in a wonderful stone building built back in 1889. It is my understanding that the pressed tin ceiling is original as well as the wonderful wooden bar counter and bar back. Also, Walt (Pudge) and Sarah, the owners, also purchased many items (including the wooden paneling) from St. Alban's the Martyr Episcopalian Church which was being torn down here in Superior and now make up much of the inside decor of this local bar. There are gorgeous tiffany lamps throughout as well as the church pieces. You can always drop in for a soda/beer/mixed drink to marvel at these historical and wonderfully carved items and ask the staff for more information. I have uploaded some pics.Written July 31, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. During the week it's a working mans bar after 5pm and on weekends a different crowd, always something happening here.Written February 23, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - agolddogDenver, co520 contributionsWhen I'm in town, I'll always hit Jack's for one. Its a nice little bar, music and sports on TV, but not so loud you can't talk.
There's a real nice
outdoor patio area too, if you happen to be there one of the three or four weeks /year it isn't snowing.Written October 12, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dan K6 contributionsThe main club is a open gay, lesbian and curious people bar and an entertaining way to meet people and fun.
