Michigan State University is a fantastic place to be! The campus is expansive, with lots of academic buildings and recreational spots. Professors here are generally supportive, although some courses can be quite challenging. The variety of clubs and activities ensures there's something for everyone. As a Spartan, I appreciate the sense of community and the opportunities for personal and academic growth. Safety is still a concern
I loved the atmosphere at Michigan State University. I came from a small town in Michigan where everyone was judged for being who they were. But when I came to MSU I found a sense of support from everyone around me. There is no judgment, no stress, and everyone can just be themselves! A change I would like to see at MSU would be to have one social media account to show all of the upcoming events. Campus is so big it is hard to find out what is going on, unless you follow like 30 or more different MSU instagram pages. One instagram for any upcoming events would be so helpful for inclusion.
At Michigan State University, I experienced a vibrant campus community with diverse academic opportunities and extracurricular activities. The supportive faculty and resources encouraged growth and exploration. I particularly enjoyed the campus spirit during football games with all the alumni and fans coming to set up and the beautiful surroundings of East Lansing with varies of stores that support your needs. However, I believe there could be improvements in campus infrastructure and diversity initiatives. Enhanced facilities and increased efforts towards inclusivity would create an even more enriching environment for students from all backgrounds. Overall, my time at MSU was rewarding, but there's always room for progress that I hope to see going back in fall for my sophomore year.
