George Washington Preparatory High School Reviews
Rating 3.35 out of 5 177 reviews
I've only been at George Washington preparatory high school for a semester now and I really like it. The English class really gets me prepared for college and so does the schedule.
Lack of support at this school. All students are not pushed to achieve higher goals like college. The culture is ok but academics is lacking.
During my time at Washington, I’ve experienced a lot of good moments and some not so good moments. I’ve been able to Join many clubs and programs that got me into one of my top reach schools, but there have been times where I’ve felt like the lack of attention the staff gave to students felt prevalent. I think also the lack of security enforcement gave way to some bad activity to keep occur inside the campus. But besides all the negative, most teachers love their jobs and are always willing to help their students succeed. The school holds a philosophy where it makes the school feel like one big house and every person in that house is a family member. The school isn’t perfect and there are a lot of room for improvement, but the school has take steps towards the right direction. You if they keep it up, I can see George Washington Prep becoming a GREAT school.
