- sun13Oxford, UK153 contributionsWe absolutely love Universal Resort, we stayed in a hotel on site and loved everything about the hotel, water taxi and ability to get into the parks early and easily.
One thing that is really disappointing is the queue system for Hagrid’s Magical Motorbike ride which we could not use express passes for. The queue is insanely long, much of it in sunlight with no where to sit. The queue then goes inside to dark narrow lanes with little to no air con or ventilation. Again no seating. I began to feel unwell due to heat and length of time in line. When we were almost at the front, a guy in 6 people in front of us dropped to the floor, fainted and had a seizure. I was along with my children (8 & 10), in a dark narrow corridor, nowhere near an exit and people started shouting help help and there was pushing and shoving. I was scared and my kids petrified with nowhere to turn. We had no idea if it was a fire or emergency, we had nowhere to turn.
Eventually we came to a fire exit and left.
Seriously, Universal, sort this out! Thank you so much to the amazing team members who went above and beyond to get me on the ride. The trainers were amazing with my 2 autistic children and helped them so much. The swim was just everything we could of wanted and more. The animals are so well cared for and loved.
The grand reef was just spectacular. Swimming with stingrays and tropical fish was just wonderful.
The food and drink available was amazing. Such a great choice to suit everyone. The slushies were to die for.
The photo package we booked online saved us alot but give great value. We got all images on a pen drive. Metal print. Printed pics and a framed pic aswell.

Loved flight of passage and the safari tour
Volume could go up on the tour guide to block out the sound of guests who loved to talk over the top of him but no other complaints

Dissatisfied with some rides not allowing bags so they charged for lockers. Unreasonable considering the entrance price and car park charges.

They may not have all the robots and dramatic effects, but they are consistent on a good time for a family.
You can visit for free with an armband the gator venue here at the park. We were so pleased to see Lucas introducing us to muffin, it was a great experience. Had a chance to meet Emma who took care of us in our bill at Johnny Rockets, when we made a mistake. It is a dynamic shopping, dining, and entertainment complex that offers a pleasant experience for visitors of all ages. The area is divided into four distinct neighborhoods: The Landing, Marketplace, West Side, and Town Center, each offering unique attractions and atmospheres.
The Landing features a charming waterfront setting with upscale dining options like The BOATHOUSE, known for its seafood and nautical theme, and Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, which offers adventurous cocktails and a fun, Indiana Jones-inspired setting.
The Marketplace is designed more for families and those seeking Disney-themed merchandise. It houses the world's largest Disney store, World of Disney, where you can find everything from apparel to collectibles. The Marketplace also includes LEGO Imagination Center, an exciting spot for kids and LEGO enthusiasts alike.

If you're in Orlando, you really should have seen it. It's easy to do Seaworld in one day, especially as it's open until late in the evening.
Downside:
a) The whole of Seaworld (from the parking lot to the bottle of water at the kiosk) is completely cashless. So it's easy to lose track of what you've spent.
b) The prices for lunch are a complete rip-off. For 2x ribs (= 4 small ribs per plate) + 1x salad + 3x drinks = approx. 120.00 $. For fast food! In a completely overcrowded restaurant, with dirty tables and plastic cutlery.

We entered the park at opening and left at closing clocking up some serious step counts when we were there.
The food is pricey but you expect that. The usual tat was brought from the gift shops.

We were lucky enough to get a family cabana, which was worth doing for a private space, it also came with unlimited soft drinks. It is a shame that Blizzard Beach was closed as we used to love visiting both Disney water parks, I hope that they can have both parks open at the same time soon. There are some really fun attractions here, the water coaster is great fun, as well as some raft rides and body slides. It is a shame that they got rid of the shark pool as I loved this experience!
