Its a comedy series on VetTv; IFL it. Its all Afghanistan, it had to be influenced by Generation Kill, but its made by Vets. It's dark comic shit; the stupid orders, the dead enemies and civilians. Noncom officers in harms way are ompetent, higher then that, eh.

Great series and great channel overall.
Sorry it's a no for me, VetTv's shorts and shows are poorly and over the top acted, cringe vet humor that oozes "back in my day" vet energy. There's a few funny clips that I think are better off as shorts for TikTok/shorts.

I actually torrented the show; if I was a vet I'd buy the VETtv service to support the mission. It appears the mission is to help vets of Iraq and Afghanistan get over the experience thru laughter and real talk.
People were shitting on Generation Kill because of a couple of shitty officers, ah that has to be made up crap by the Rolling Stones reporter. Well, its reflected in Grunt's Life too. Most of the lower officers being great, higher ups are all about ambition, lets danger close an artillery strike on a town that hasnt fired, even higher up loves it for aggressive initiative, no enemy fire? must have eliminated the enemy! Decorate that man!
Kiss up Kick Down is not just a military plague, its all over our civilian workplaces. The ambitious people are a plague on the rest of us. Forcing us to do dumb shit, stealing credit when we turn dumb shit into smart shit.
