A man who police say shot and killed his girlfriend and her uncle inside a business unit in Santa Ana died at a hospital over the weekend of a self-inflicted gunshot wound from what police believe was a double murder-suicide, authorities said.

Cameron Delani Clark, 25, of Santa Ana died Saturday, May 4, two days after the shooting.

The girlfriend was Jordan Block, 25, of Santa Ana and her uncle was Brian Xan Martin, 64, of Santa Ana, police said.

Clark and Block had gone to a business complex in the 1200 block of East Chestnut Avenue to visit Martin, who police believe was living inside one of the business units, said Officer Natalie Garcia, a department spokeswoman.

Just before 4:30 p.m., Block called Santa Ana police and told a dispatcher that her boyfriend stabbed her and Martin, Garcia said. When officers arrived, they found all three also suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Block and Martin died at the scene.

A firearm was found inside the business unit, as well as “edged weapons related to the crime,” police said. Garcia had previously said a bloody spear was found at the scene, but whether that was the weapon used to stab the victims was not disclosed.

Garcia said it appeared Martin may have been a collector of edged weapons, or he may have been selling them out of the business unit.

A motive for the violence was unclear.
