Looking for their first title for the title for the last 16 years, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will kickstart their IPL 2024 with an opening match against the five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 22nd March. After their match, the Men in Red and Gold will return to their home as they are scheduled to take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The M. Chinnaswamy stadium is the home ground of RCB in the IPL with a capacity of 32,000 spectators. The ground is known for its batting friendly surface where the batters get a good bounce and connect the ball well. The Chinnaswamy stadium is known to be a batters paradise and nightmare for the fast bowlers, where the team can chase even 200+ targets in T20 Cricket easily. It is the same venue where Chris Gayle hit the historic 175 runs against Pune Warriors India (PWI) in IPL 2013.
