Had business in FR on Sunday so decided to walk the path from Bicentennial Park to Battleship Cove. Most of it is a nice boardwalk, part is just pavement. Right along the river. We started at Bicentennial park, where there are memorials to WWI, WWII, Korean War and Vietnam war, and along the river to Battleship Cove (just over a mile) and back to where we parked. Tons of potential in fenced off areas where they could really improve the area but it's nice as it stands

Over the thirty three years of my history as an artist in the Fall River 1840 Granite Mill space, the Fall River Heritage State Park has been one of the most memorable. In 1988 I saw a major exhibit of 35 ft. high metal sculptures by Susumu Shingu a world famous sculptor. It went from Fall River to Chicago to Los Angelos. Later that year my own monumental art filled the major area of the space for four months.
