I ordered the Grilled Chicken Marsala with mix vegetables and the bartender Ethan (what a hunk) suggested to add polenta under the chicken. What a fantastic suggestion!! The polenta soaked up the yummy mushroom Marsala sauce and was the perfect addition to the to the dish. I also treated myself to a very grassy glass of Antmoore Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Do yourself a favor…RUN don’t walk to Antoni’s! From the inviting atmosphere to the knowledgeable staff this should definitely be on your rotation of restaurants you visit. You can count on me coming back!”

The prices are great for the amount of food that is brought out. We left full and happy. Our only wish is that we lived closer, because this would become a weekly go to. Absolutely amazing.”

After moving to Louisiana from Arizona a couple of years ago, I was actually quite surprised to find that good BBQ is a difficult find out here. Finally, I found Blanchards and it hit all of the right spots. Brisket, sausage, great sauces, and probably one of the best takes on the Ole Style meat and potato meals I have experienced in a long time - Blanchard's Poutine Dream. A mound of French fries smotherd in dark rich gravy, chopped brisket, and cheese crumbles.The staff is phenomenal - I, admittedly, have a bit of a crush on the waitress behind the counter - but then it could be because she is my gateway to some of the best BBQ in Lafayette. My only critique is that they close so early and adding options like cherry peppers, pickles, and onions would be nice.Blanchard's is not just great, it's consistently great.”

Aside from my wife's Haitian cooking which is a bit different from the Louisiana interpretation.The Creole Lunch is very unassuming I'm appearance, and easy to miss if you are not looking. Nestled on the side of the road, I noticed the sign and the grassy parking lot. The inside is literally the inside of a house, giving it welcoming appeal. The place is a local, family-owned establishment and it shows in the food and hospitality.Now the matter of the food. It is bleeping epic! Everything I ate, and I ate half my weight in food, was delicious! The Jambalaya was spicy, savory, and teeming with flavor. As was the pork with dirty rice and collard greens. The food was so good, I ordered the Catfish Po Boy as a second entree and ate the whole damn thing. Needless to say it was life-changing. I left here full and sleepy. A meal I will remember for the rest of my life.Parking: A huge grassy lot that has plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families, the locals of course, in here all of the time.”

“Husbands class of 71 had lunch there recently and everything was GREAT. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and 2 lbs of boiled shrimp both with potatoes and corn. We also each had a link of boudin which was very good. The crawfish and shrimp were both perfect. The seasoning was on point and neither one was over or under cooked. They had everything you would want to drink. The beer was very COLD. The waitresses were wonderful. I really don’t know how they gave such great service to such a big crowd but they really did a great job. The whole afternoon was perfect. We will be back and hope we will have more group meetings there again. I would not hesitate to recommend this resturant to anybody. Everything was PERFECT.Parking: Parking was easy, convenient & free.Kid-friendliness: There were no children with this group but you could tell that kids would be welcome there and I did notice there was a menu. The seaweed was seasoned very good but it would not have been too spicy for kids.”

“Had the BEST experience using Crawfish Jake for our client appreciation event! Communication was prompt and professional leading up to the event. The staff that serviced our event was polite and accommodating considering the weather wasn’t on our side for part of it. They had backup plans for us if the weather didn’t work out. I didn’t have to worry about anything day of. They brought iced down drinks, boiled and plated crawfish and sides and had premade dip ready to go. They handled all trash and cleanup. I could seriously go on and on. Jake even checked in during the event to check on everything. And lastly, the crawfish were AMAZING! All of our clients raved about the perfect seasoning level, the crawfish were large and easy to peel and the staff made sure everyone was enjoying them and offered to make accommodations if necessary. 10/10 would recommend and will use again!”

“What a great vibe! The Balcony room was perfect! Enjoyed hearing the band on the balcony and live in the saloon. The bed was dreamy and the room had everything including air conditioning. Common areas easy to navigate and enjoy. Hosts are intentional in the accommodations and it shows! I recommend taking a moment to read all of the headliner posters used as wallpaper. What a wall of magical musicians! Highly recommended staying at the Blue Moon Saloon & Guest House!”

“The KoK food truck came to school. It was only 2 of them and they were both very pleasant. I ordered the fried shrimp and fries. The shrimp were deveined, a nice size and had good flavor. The fries were yummy.”

“I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.”
