After all the moves made by multiple UCLA Bruins who have put their name in the transfer portal, one has revealed that he will definitively return for the 2024 season.
UCLA tight end Hudson Habermehl announces he will return to school for the 2024 season. UCLA insider Tracy McDannald of Bruin Blitz was among the first to report the news:
The senior appeared in 12 games, with one start that came in the first game against Coastal Carolina. In 2023, he completed seven catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns. These two touchdowns came against the USC Trojans, which were his only two receptions of the game.
Habermehl's best game came against the Stanford Cardinal, a 42-7 Bruins win, where he caught three balls for 54 yards, with his longest being 45 yards.
The California native has spent his entire college career at UCLA and will continue to do so through at least the 2024 season. Given all the change happening elsewhere among the program's underclassmen, it's a pretty darn major relief that at least one talent will be sticking around.
Welcome back, Hudson!
