Great Airline!
My mum and I were flying from Toronto to Marrakech for a yoga retreat and had such a comfortable experience with TAP. I've flown with them in the past and have never been disappointed with the service. The seats are more comfortable than other airlines and they even have a fun onboard Portugues learning module on their planes with screens.…

Never, ever, fly with TAP Air.
Never, ever, fly with TAP Air. This company is a joke from start to finish. Our flights got cancelled at the last minute, which can happen, and the customer service journey started from there. We're still waiting to be refunded by the airline after 1.5 years who continuously tried to take shortcuts in order to avoid payment. First they offer you the voucher option which we refused, then the customer service tells you that a payment refund is on the way while it is not. They make you wait with promises that a refund is on the way while they keep you stuck in a loop to then ask you to reach out to a specific refund department. While filling out a new claim, other shortcuts are there to make sure your claim is hard to file as they ask for mandatory information that you truly have to dig for. Never writing reviews but hope this comment could somehow, someday help someone who's considering flying with TAP not to. Just don't.…

Not Best Client Treatment
Due to TAP's own schedule, I had to stopover at Lisbon for about 12 hours stretching over night from 28. to 29. May. Although my ticket clearly stated "lounge access" and it was a single through ticket covering 2 flights, I was initially denied access to the lounge because my onward flight was on a following day. It was only after protest and when I asked for someone senior to attend, that I was given permission to use the lounge. However, as the lounge closes at midnight, I had to exit and then re-enter at 5 a.m. the following morning. That was fine. The drawback is, nowhere inside the airport is there any quiet area with reclining chairs. The available chairs are dreadfully uncomfortable for anything more than 1 hour. I would have been better served to fly economy and use the saved money to go to a hotel near the airport.…

Refund Nightmare
I bought a flight with seats. They had to move my flight to accommodate my dogs in the hold. The seats did not transfer. I bought the seats again thinking they would refund me for the original. They did not. Its a month now and I am still waiting for the refund. It is "processing" according to them.…

Customer Service and Emergency Cancellations
Unfortunately, in recent years TAP has been the worst airline to fly to Portugal. The customer service phone line as well as the TAP airport staff are always attended by disrespectful agents. Every time you call the customer service line in regards to your flight, you will receive a completely different answer. I truly don’t understand how this company is always declaring bankruptcy when they do not even give 0.5% back in a voucher or credit format for a cancelled flight due to emergency. Last time ever booking with them.…
