EU publishes guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in Research

The Commission, together with the European Research Area countries and stakeholders, has published a set of guidelines to support the European research community in their responsible use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). The “living” guidelines, published on 20 March 2024, provide “simple and actionable recommendations” for researchers, institutions and funders.
