It could definitely be argued that ACDC has made bad albums. We love them all because we're fans, but to most people an album like Blow Up Your Video is fairly weak and has a lot of filler.
Worst ac/dc album. Two good songs.
Namely Meanstreak and Ruff Stuff. And Go Zone and That’s the Way. And Heatseeker and Two’s Up. And Some Sin for Nuthin’ and Kissin’ Dynamite. And Nick of Time and This Means War.
Lol yeah seriously, I love BUYV. Nick of Time, This Means War, and Heatseeker are my favorites.
shush
In the video he mentions Rage Against the Machine. I hate the establishment so I tried to get into them but I just couldn't find a single song I even mildly liked.
Seriously? First two albums are flawless. Next couple decent at worst
really i love them interesting
I mean they're pretty famous, obviously I don't gave the popular opinion😂 But different strokes for different folks you know?
not hating at all just idk never heard someone say they don’t like them i’ve been raised on them cos my dad was mad fer it in 90s
AC/DC has made bad albums in the Brian era. The Bon era is close to perfect though.
He barely made any so makes sense. Brian had more time to make mistakes. Love both their stuff tho
I like both Bon and Brian as well, but the true essence of AC/DC is Bon. The song-writing of the Bon era cannot be matched along with the raw power.
Totally agree I listened to all his albums, the demos, the original Australian releases and live shows he was ACDC. No doubt but I like both Brian has made his own good songs. Everyone agrees that Bon was their best frontman. All that chemistry, vocals, energy. I was just saying that I like both. They got their own styles. They couldn't be compared cos not only did the singing change with Brian but so did the band so I look at them like they're own band. Bon ACDC and Brian ACDC. Also Brian did stop singing good after fly on the wall. The rest were mid after that
During the pandemic, I went down a huge AC/DC rabbit hole. Listened to the entire catalog plus anything live I could find on YouTube. I would say that the magic is really the evolution and chemistry of the band during the Bon era. It resonates in the live shows where the band truly excelled. To have two brothers reach that level of guitar brilliance with the top-notch rhythm playing of Malcolm and the blues lick mastery of Angus, combined with Phil Rudd's pure Rock & Roll drumming, the whole band was a machine. A beast of a live act whose energy blew most bands away. Truly special!!!
I mean…
The mid-late 80’s albums are awful for their production alone. They desperately need remixing.
Can’t think of any band that hasn’t made a bad album.
The Beatles, Pink Floyd (before Roger left), and maybe Oasis or Sabbath
sabbath made seventh star
I haven’t even heard that one
it’s terrible
Someone gonna write up the list so we don’t have to watch?
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Steely Dan
QotSA
NIN
The Police
RAtM
SoaD
Hero
Radiohead, different eras but no bad album...
Blow Up Your Video is bad.
Why is it always that album? What is going through your head when you listen to Two’s To, Go Zone or Meanstreak?
It’s better than Fly on the Wall, that’s for sure.
Blow up your video and Ballbreaker are pretty bad.
Ballbreaker is awesome
Ballbreaker is f**king awesome
Ballbreaker is so good. Definitely one of Brian’s best
Rock or Bust. Any other I can find enough to make it a good album. In my mind at least 5 good songs. Blow up your video is good once you accept what it is.
