Actor. Remembered for his basso voice and his perceptive manner, he shared the screen with such film legends as Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe. Born George Carl Wenzlaff, he was introduced to audiences, when he appeared on the Art Linkletter program "People Are Funny" and became an instant sensation. This attention led to his motion picture debut in the Cary Grant picture "Room for One More" (1952) and was reunited with Grant in "Monkey Business" (1952). He played the title role in "My Pal Gus" (1952) and appeared opposite Marilyn Monroe in the classic "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" (1953). He co-starred with Clifton Webb in "Mister Scoutmaster" (1953). Among his TV credits include "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" and "Blondie." Winslow retired from the entertainment industry prior to becoming a teenager and went on to work for the United States Postal Service. He served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
