Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- John CBirmingham, UK196 contributionsWe had the pleasure of visiting here at the end of October, just before it closed for a 2 year upgrade programme. Our hope is that it still retains its charm,it's a lovely regional museum that get to show exhibits from around the world.Written 11 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simon R10 contributionsWe visited Fire on a wet Tuesday afternoon and came across this gem. A pleasant hour or so browsing and we came away with a few bargainsWritten 21 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anthony DVire-Normandie, France20 contributionsSmall museum but interesting, the climb to the turrets rewarded by great views of the town, easy parking in centre of town close to all the restaurants.Written 4 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Just_in_the_southTruro, UK213 contributionsFriendly staff and very helpful! A wide range of leaflets showing a good selection of places to visit and things to do.Written 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason S16 contributionsGreat bar with a good range of interesting beer which was also open on a Sunday - unlike many other places. We also had some bar food with our drinks which was also very good. A popular spot.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnitaJ6 contributionswe go here very often and have always been satisfied with the service. The snacks are reasonably priced and so are the table gamesWritten 30 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pety H1 contributionGreat pool with a variety of slides outdoors and one tobogan one indoors, swimming pool goes from 1.1m to 3.3m, kids pools - one for toddlers and non swimmers.
Just be aware all male need to wear either speedos or tight swimming trunks - so no loose swimming shorts. A vending machine that takes cards has is available, covers boys ages as well as adults. August 22 I've paid €12 for 8-10yrs old size and they were a good quality.
Changing rooms are unisex. Lockers are provided, a key to the locker is given at the reception when buying tickets. All areas, including toilets and showers, very clean.
The only minus was a very slow customer service, took forever to be seen and no acknowledgement of the lenght of the waiting time.
Overall would definitely recommend. 👍🏻Written 30 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
