Interested in studying at UP Law? Here’s what you need to know

The University of the Philippines College of Law, based in Diliman, Quezon City, has released the official information bulletin for admissions for the academic year 2018-2019.

For aspiring lawyers of the country’s national university, taking the law aptitude examination (LAE) is the first step to achieving this goal.

UP Law announced that the next LAE will be administered on Sunday, February 18, 2018, in UP Diliman, UP Cebu and UP Davao.

According to the info bulletin, the LAE consists of objective tests designed to measure certain abilities and skills necessary for the study of law at UP. The test subjects include Communication Skills, Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, and Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning.

Admissions to the college is based solely on merit, which is decided through the applicant’s LAE grades, general weighted average (GWA) in the undergraduate course, and other requirements.
