This Marks The Superstar’s 17th Time Hosting The ACM Awards
The Academy of Country Music (ACM), Prime Video, and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) announced the news early Thursday morning, confirming that the country music icon will return to host for the 17th time on Thursday, May 16.
“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” McEntire excitedly shared. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!”

With exciting new music coming, extensive television presence and a worldwide fanbase, Reba’s back and better than ever!”

McEntire has a long-standing relationship with the Academy of Country Music. Not only is she the artist with the most ACM Awards hosting gigs in history, has also holds 16 ACM Award victories and a whopping nine nominations for ACM Entertainer of the Year, including a 1994 win in the category. She also has the record for the most Female Artist of the Year nominations.
In addition to taking on hosting duties, McEntire will also take the stage to perform new music.
ACM Awards Nominees
Nominees for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards were announced earlier this month, and Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, and Morgan Wallen were named the top nominees. Combs secured eight nominations, while Moroney and Wallen each earned six. Other top ACM Awards nominees include Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and Jordan Davis.
Airing on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT, “Country Music’s Party of the Year will stream exclusively live for a global audience on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Fans don’t need a Prime membership to join in live; everyone is welcome to attend the Party of the Year.
