Norwalk Public Schools To Host 'Say Yes To A Prom Dress' Event

The NPS Family Center will host its first "Say Yes to a Prom Dress" event for high school seniors to find a free gown to wear to their prom.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Public Schools Family Center will host its first "Say Yes to a Prom Dress" event this month, during which district high school seniors can find a gorgeous free gown to wear to their prom.

According to a news release provided by the school district, students can sign up to attend the event on May 9, 10 and 11.

Students who "say yes to a dress" will also receive a free ticket to their school's prom.

According to district officials, the event offers a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy their prom night without worrying about the expenses of a dress and a ticket.

As they look for their perfect prom dress, attendees can also enjoy music and free refreshments.

The event will take place:

  • Thursday, May 9, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, May 10 from 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The NPS Family Center is located at 1 Park Street in Norwalk.
