I have the first variant (with download code) that I bought right at the start of 2020 when it was repressed the first time. The mastering/cut of this is very pleasant, clear, warm and dynamic, with a rich low end and the instruments widely spread out. The pressing quality is subpar though, like almost anything I received from MPO: Warped disc and before the music starts there is some "whoosh" sound noticeable. Side B also had mutliple surface scuffs right out of the shrink! Fortunately all of that barely affects the music, but still, yet another example of inexistent quality control, which was even shortly before Covid when general vinyl quality still was a bit better.

Just received my copy, added variant 9 to this release, has different matrix / runout numbers. It does sound quite good indeed, but the pressing is off-center, doesn't seem to affect the sound, yet have to listen more carefully though. Anyone else noticed this? Is this a new release perhaps even instead of just a variant?

I taped this off of MuchMusic way back in the early 90s and watched it over and over again. Pearl Jam was my favourite band through most of my teens and it was as close as I got to seeing them live for a while. Luckily it's a fantastic performance with the definitive versions (to me) of some of their best songs, most notably "Black." Really happy to have this on vinyl—it's a great sounding record, especially for a live performance.

Picked up in South Korea. Different MPO stamp number but seems legit. Has an interesting inventory label. Sounds great!

Mine didn't have the download code, i think it's a new repress cause it has been showing up a lot in record stores recently

Very good pressing really recommend this one. The whole band sounds great and Eddie sounds like he’s singing in your room

The very best pressing you could hope for ,quiet vinyl flat soundstage is way above average audiophile grade listening!

Three days after completing their first American tour, Pearl Jam headed to New York to strip back songs from debut album Ten, well on its way to becoming one of 1992’s top rock albums. For the first time on vinyl, relive all seven songs featured in the MTV Unplugged broadcast, including “Jeremy,” “Even Flow,” “Alive,” “Black” and “State Of Love and Trust.” Rock history on your record player. Just like MTV Nirvana Unplugged in NY, this is a must have in your record collection. It has some good base in the mastering but does not kill voice nor other instruments. Separation is still very good and man, what a live performance!! Brings me back to the time rock was still good rock and these are classics to have just like Nirvana Unplugged in NY, Smells like teen spirit, use your illusion 1 and 2 etc. .... Go and get this record on 180g vinyl and get this recording warp you back to 1992 at the Kaufman Astoria Studios in NY.

I think after the superb MOV MTV Alice in Chains Unplugged, I was expecting much more from this pressing. It sounds good, but it just doesn't sound impressive enough. Guitar is so swamped by the heavy bass frequency - guitar solo in Porch almost drowned that I has to turn down the bass, and I'm a bass junkie!! Eddie's vocals certainly are clean and clear making him sound very present, which im glad for. But overall, and whereas MOV MTV Alice in Chains unplugged is one of the best vinyl in my vast collection and highly prized by me, this left my expectations a little underwhelmed.
