High school was a transformative journey filled with a myriad of experiences that shaped me into the person I am today. Academically, it was a time of exploration, where I delved into various subjects, discovering my passions and strengths. From the rigorous challenges of advanced placement courses to the creative freedom of electives, each class offered a unique opportunity for growth and learning. Despite the occasional academic hurdles, the sense of accomplishment from overcoming them was immensely rewarding and instilled in me a resilient mindset that I carry forward.
Beyond the classroom, high school provided a fertile ground for personal development and self-discovery. It was a time of forging friendships that would last a lifetime, navigating social dynamics, and discovering my own identity amidst the diversity of personalities and perspectives. Through extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports teams, and volunteering initiatives, I found avenues to to explore my career.

Throughout my time at Forest Hill High School, I have felt that too much emphasis has been put on standardized testing while teaching students isn't a priority. Many teachers care about meeting district standards but fail to recognize the needs that some students may have. I have had some amazing teachers at my school, however the lack of funding and support can often make it hard. Much of our administration lacks skills in communication, resulting in teachers, students, and parents suffering. In addition to this, I believe my school lacks resources for college readiness. I have always been in all honors, yet I still felt uneducated when it came to varying programs and resources I could've used. If I, an honors student, suffered then I can only imagine the majority of my school's issues. Sports are okay here, some being better than others due to resources, funding, and staff. Arts programs such as theater, band, and color guard lack support almost entirely.
The school aims to prepare students for both higher education and the workforce, providing a comprehensive education that emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Forest Hill Community High School also has various athletic programs, including football, basketball, and soccer, fostering team spirit and physical fitness among students.
My overall experience at Forest hill, eventhough I'm a sophomore has been really great. The teachers and Faculty are really great people. The principal people to go to college.Which I think is really great.
I started Forest Hill High School in January 2024 as a senior. This school is still new for me even if I can tell many things about it. Being from France and coming to the United States in july 2023, it was hard to find a school that would graduate me even if I applied to all the requirements. I started in a private school in South Carolina that would not graduate me. When I transferred to Forest Hill, they did everything to make me a senior and be able to graduate this year, the administration is really efficient. The teachers have been really welcoming too.
The school is provided little resources for a large body of students. While the teachers do try their best they are held back by administrators.
I went to Forest Hill Community High School for four years and my experience was just like a regular high school. I made friends got good grades and did well. The food was basic, you can't expect much from school food. I would complain about the need to have more lunches because the school's population needs more than 2 lunches as well as more buses to accommodate the students. After all, the buses get crowded. Moreover, this school is very diverse and they represent and acknowledge other cultures. The administrators are caring and listen to your issues. Overall, this school was decent.
At Forest Hill, the teacher are hit or miss. Either you got a teacher that is super funny and well education about the subject or your teacher barely understand the topic. The school has been under construction for almost a year and a half. However, the students and the Student Government have a lot of school sprit. Football games are always amazing, even if our team loses. Pep rally days are some of the best days of the year. Everyone gathers around to watch the cheerleaders preform and the football players run through their banner. Overall, the upsides of Forest Hill outweighs the downsides.
I rated my experience with Forest Hill Community High School as an 3 out of 5 stars. As an upcoming senior for the class of 2024, I have been attending Forest Hill since my freshman year. I was not able to get much of the high school experience my first year as a freshman because of Covid. The only thing that I was able to experience was being a cheerleader but then again the stands were empty as nobody was allowed to watch the games in the stands due to protocols. On campus, I participate in three sports, a club, and student government association. Within being involved, I get so much information on things that a Normal student would not. Our school lacks administration participation, school spirit, bigger opportunities. I would like to see more faces around the campus that genuinely cares about us students and our futures rather than a check that they receive. I believe we need more teachers that take teaching as a great passion that they truly love. Which is the reason upon 3 stars.
My experience was great. There is a variety of choice programs that help aid students with choosing careers to pursue. There are a lot of assembly's, football games and other fun events that students take part in.
One thing that could improve is the diversity.

I went to FHHS from my freshman year through my senior year, as my time had its highs, it surely had its lows. Some administrators seem to be on a power trip, while others were truly angels. Had an overall mediocre experience however, I can’t tell you anything I learned from the AICE lang class:(
This school contained some of the best teachers I've ever had, they thought me so much and will continue doin incredible jobs teaching the next generation. Although the school is smaller than other high school its filled with a diverce group of students so that ANYONE can feel at home.
My overall experience at Forest Hill high was amazing. The school education system there is in great hands with the awesome teachers. They are very educated and wise but also realistic. The school is clean and very cheerful. The principle is awesome and kind. He is very connected to the students and cares for them. The school has a great loving community. I'm so thankful I chose this high school to attend because I really feel appreciated and seen. The guidance counselors are great and helpful with college applications. I truly care for the school and am very appreciative of the people and my peers. I will forever be grateful and thankful for their education.
I really like the school, the teachers all take their job very seriously and do an amazing job at teaching. They explain topics very thoroughly and are very kind.
The teachers are high quality in the IB program. They care about each student and put the effort in to help even outside schools hours.
Forest Hill High School is a very special high school. There's an abundance of things to see and do at this school. We have multiple diverse clubs that consist of any interest ranging from Art Club to Debate Club and even an Environmental club. There are also several academies such as JROTC and the Medical program. These programs are very convenient for students who want to accelerate their skills for their future careers. The teachers and staff who attend this school care plenty for their students as they offer both free lunches and a chance for juniors and senior to dual enroll with Palm Beach State College.
I had a good time at Forest Hill, never had any issues with any teachers and made some really good friends.
