Overall White Plains High School is a extremely great school. Personally I believe it is the Best public school in all of Westchester County. The school has an amazing staff that make learning fun and easy, Additionally, the school has a wide variety of classes, clubs, and sports which helps to make the Highschool experience more personalized for you and your interests.
I was a member of the White Plains city school district my whole life. I started in Church Street Elementary, then Eastview and Highlands Middle schools, and finally White Plains High School. I feel that being in this system thoroughly prepared me for interacting with people of all walks of life. The White Plains public school system is incredibly diverse and provides a meaningful education.
Overall, my experience has been very positive. There are tons of different classes to choose from and you can really cater your schedule to your interests. There are so many different clubs and resources that provide amazing opportunities for career building and national recognition. Socially, there are groups for everyone here. It is easy to find somewhere you fit in as a student. I think this school really helped me prepare for college and gain an advantageous standing when applying.
