Gautham Menon to direct Mammootty, Nayanthara in first Malayalam film: Report
Gautham Vasudev Menon is reportedly all set to direct his debut Malayalam film, and he will be teaming up with Mammootty and Nayanthara.

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who had shared the screen with Malayalam superstar Mammootty, is reportedly all set to direct him in his first Malayalam film. If reports are to be believed, then Nayanthara will also be a part of the cast.
The reports have come from industry experts. Girish Johar shared on X, “Both my favourites coming together !!! @mammukka & @menongautham - in his 1st #Malayalam Directorial !!! Expecting MEGA fireworks on Screen !!!! (sic)”
Earlier, Gautham Vasudev Menon had shared the screen with Mammootty in ‘Bazooka’. He had also expressed his wish to direct a Malayalam film. He had told a portal, “I am also looking to see if I can direct a film next year in Malayalam; I am in discussion with a couple of actors. I really want to work with Mammootty sir and also with Fahadh Faasil.”
Reports are also doing the rounds that Nayanthara is being considered opposite Mammootty as the female lead. However, there has been no official confirmation yet.
Mammootty was last seen in ‘Bramayugam’. He is gearing up for the release of his next, ‘Turbo’. The film will be released on May 24.
