The hotel and the park are brilliant really clean, well organised and the staff are really helpful and pleasant.
The only down side is the price of food and drink in both the hotel and the park for the quality.
The food is poor, similar to Wetherspoons yet you are paying premium prices. Our meal on an evening for a family of 4 was close to £150 with 1 drink each. The cost of beer in the hotels is also expensive I was paying &7.50 a pint.
Like I said a great place and an amazing trip but it feels like they can charge want they want once your in.

Enjoyed a day here with a local group. It is a beautiful place to visit . There are so many amazing memorials to see in such a beautiful setting. The armed forces Memorial was especially thought provoking. We went on the land train which gave a good commentary as we travelled around and then spent time wondering at our leisure. Several members also hired mobility scooters for the day. There are lots of volunteers all around the site who were really friendly and informative. Lunch in the restaurant was good and excellent value for money.
Entry is free, land train was £7.50 and hire of mobility scooters £10 for the day.
All in all an excellent day out.

Check in was smooth. The staff were pleasant and friendly, putting a smile on my face before descending to the “preparation area.

The whole place has been given a facelift. The changing/pick up skis area seemed brighter. The newly arranged access and egress gates worked well and opened up the changing area, helping to lift (what was) a dowdy area into a brighter more welcoming space.
The snow in the eponymous SnowDome was the best that I have seen recently. It was soft and well listed, without largish areas of ice at the top.

The former mercury vapour lighting was replaced some time ago with LED luminaires- again providing a more uplifting environment in which to ski.

Biggest annoyance is the valuables lockers. The non refundable 20p every time you open the locker is a pain. It does however, concentrate the mind on what to put in the locker - and when to close it!!

The car park seems poorly designed, with narrow spaces between cars.

Oldie but goodie. Growing up going to Drayton manor we decided as a larger family (15 in all) to take our children (aged between 6 and 18) for the day. It did not disappoint. We loved it here and I think my 3 children loved it as much as I did at their age.

An enjoyable day out for all the family. The 140 Barbary macaques are relatively tame toward the general public, which allows visitors to come into close proximity to them on the trail around the forest. The staff were helpful and friendly. While the staff members fed the monkeys and gave useful information about macaques, which added to the experience. A fun day out for the family to enjoy that is undoubtedly worthwhile for people of all ages.

This was a phenomenal experience. The opportunity to see beavers in their natural habitat is a rarity in England thanks to our destruction of the species. Trentham is at the forefront of a much-needed reintroduction of this species - long may it continue.
On the evening itself, we enjoyed great views of the beavers as they emerged from their island home and began to make their way across the lake. Some distant sightings were still a thrill, and a final close encounter was just incredible. Tour guide and resident beaver expert Harvey is a very friendly host - his work and knowledge are an asset to Trentham. The evening is fantastic value for money and will help Trentham continue their excellent work for nature. I can’t recommend it enough.

My friend suggested we go to see the embroidery on display and how amazing it was. Visited the shop, purchased some lovely magnets bookmarks and cards.
So enjoyed, even though I probably visit every month.

Great place to visit. Very well done with a detailed history of the industry, working conditions and live demonstrations of the craft etc. All the staff were very helpful especially the gentleman on reception. Cant recommend it highly enough and when you see how these men, women and children lived/worked it makes it clear how easy our modern lives are.

Had a fantastic experience down the mine today, Steve Sedgwick was a brilliant guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, can't believe the conditions miners had to suffer. Highly recommend the breakfast in the cafe too! All the volunteers should be so proud of what they do!

We stopped off here on a journey the length of the M6 and despite being a little off the motorway it was well worth it. We arrived early afternoon of bank holiday Monday and were expecting it to be heaving and whilst it was very busy, things were so well organised in the car park and the grounds themselves that it didn't feel oppressive at all.
The gardens themselves are spectacular. The oriental section was a particular highlight but you could spend days wandering around enjoying it. Also feels like a place that would reward repeat visits throughout the year as the garden grows and changes.
Bring your camera! Everywhere you turn is a postcard.

Wow what a beautiful place first time we explored Cannock chase during our camping trips. Could have spent hours there. Maybe another trip before we leave this area of the country.

Did you know Stoke created the spitfire man? Did you know of a thing called the Staffordshire hoard? Would you like to see a collection of butterflies, a small old chip shop recreated with plastic fishes, and a cat skeleton?
Of course you do because Stoke-on-Trent Museum is a place of hallowed mysteries, secrets to be uncovered, and joy. Afterwards be sure to buy some nicknacks from the shop, they're the usual soft animals and keyrings but better because they were made by proper Stokies. Go on you Potters 🔥 We will be back in the premiere league in no time 💪💪💪
