We had a blast riding all over the island in the cart! We honestly wouldn’t have seen half as much of this incredible place without it. Not a lot of cars around so even though we were inexperienced driving the golf cart, we felt safe and there were so many beautiful places to stop and breathe in the fresh, salty sea air and take photos of the gorgeous views! Picking up the cart was just a short walk around the corner from the ferry and the people working there were warm and informative. The carts were clean and ran well. We did the 2 hour rental and it was plenty of time to explore all we wanted. My advice would be to either eat before or after you rent the cart so you get the most bang for your buck. What we did was just eat back in Portland where there are a lot more options anyway. Bottom line: Peaks Island Golf Carts was totally worth it!

We had a wonderful time riding the Peak Island golf carts. We took the loop around the island along the coast, then drove some residential areas. It was cooler on the island which made it more pleasurable. The scenery was beautiful. Two hours was perfect. Will be doing that again with friends.

Great experience! Renting the golf cart was the best way to see the most of the island. Two hours was plenty of time to get around the island and allowed time for a few stops to enjoy the beautiful views.
