Does anyone have the video of Michael Barrymore on My Kind Of Music performing I’ll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans?
There’s a viral clip of a 1999 performance of Michael Barrymore on his show My Kind Of Music rapping C U When U Get There by Coolio that has garnered attention recently as it’s funny and cringey.
Many commenters have claimed to have watched him perform I’ll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans when it was originally broadcast. It’s also been referenced on message boards and in a few online articles but there is no footage of this. His performance of Backstreet’s Back was also lost until someone uploaded it in full to Youtube a few years ago, finding it on an old VHS recording.
If anyone can find this it would make my year as I bet it is hilarious.
My Kind Of Music was likely not repeated after the 2001 death of Stuart Lubbock - which happened at Barrymore’s property - and as far as I’m aware there are no VHS / DVD releases but hopefully it can be found.
