Sterling College - Kansas Reviews

Sterling College has a unique character to its campus. The staff and facility are great, and everyone wishes everyone else succeeds. If you want a campus with a faith background, it is the perfect campus, as there is service every Wednesday and Friday to express your spirituality with Christ. There are a few downsides to the college, however, with one being that the cafeteria food could be of better quality, and it can get repetitive. Secondly, the dorms are on the older side as they are historic and are not renovated often, making them seem run down sometimes. Lastly, you must pay a bit for the high-end because it is a private Christian college. Besides these nuances, the campus is fun to live in as the community is lively and a great place to make connections that can last a lifetime.
I loved the small class sizes! Making relationships with my professors was key to my success at Sterling.
Overall my experience was one that I would not trade for anything. There were good times but also bad times. The good; the people were so welcoming and wanted to see you do well and wanted to help in anyway possible to see you succeed in your goals. They always empowered you and knew you were capable of so much. The bad; the campus was very very small, which for some this could be a good thing, everyone knew everyone and everyone knew everyone’s business. The classes were fairly easy and there were many resources to help you excel.
