Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a fantastic museum. There are some great galleries, with lots of different things to see. There are lifts to get to each floor, so it was easy to get around with a pushchair. My 3 year old enjoyed looking at the dinosaur fossils, building an ammonite and doing a mosaic puzzle in the first room. Sadly after that, it was a bit boring for him. There are no more interactive things in the other galleries (there are a few dress up areas that he wasn't interested in). He just kept asking for more kids things. Other museums we've been to have had a lot more things for the little ones, which is great for kids, but also adults who can then have time to look at the displays properly.
It is a lovely museum and well worth a visit though.

We had a birthday party for our boy. We invited 5 friends of his. We had a fantastic time! We were allowed to bring our own birthday cake and balloons. We ordered pizzas. They were delicious.
The staffs are always very friendly and kind. We are annual pass holders. It's definitely worth to have it! We bought an annual pass with friends, so we had a discount.

Really interesting place to visit if in the Taunton area and looking for somewhere that has history and countryside linked together.

Make a wide range of willow products from willow grown in the area including a wide range of coffins as well as traditional baskets and trays etc. Also the biggest makers of artist charcoal in the world from all the willow cut off in the manufacture of their traditional products so very sustainable company, generate some of their own electricity from panels located near by.

Had a full tour of the museum and production area, wear some good walking shoes as it’s a bit messy underfoot. Allow an hour and a half for museum which includes a video setting the full process of planting harvesting and preparing the willow to be weaved.

Well worth ÂŁ8.50 as the guide of the production area was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

We had lunch at the Lemon Tree cafe within the area which was produced fresh and was delicious especially the cheese scones!!

Do give them a visit, there are some walks from the centre but it has been so wet recently we didn’t do that.

There is just so much to see and explore here - its way more than simply a watermill. Around every corner and in every cranny there are dir=fferent displays and exhibits ranging from a Model T Ford to a sellection of chimney pots! Mush is accessible for the less mobile and there is a childrens play room. You could easily spend half a day here so its great that there is a tea room. Whats more the whole enterprise raises money for charity. Well worth a visit and the volunteers who staff it are very helpful.

Absolutely overwhelmed at the length staff went to in supporting me when I visited with my two young children. It was a new experience we were giving a go and unfortunately as soon as we entered the theatre my autistic son became overloaded and was inconsolable. We did all we could to prepare and minimise any issues but it just wasn’t enough when it came to it. I had to take him out with my 6yr old daughter reluctantly having to follow me out. The staff went out of their way to support me. My daughter was allowed to sit in with two lovely stewards in the top row of seating whilst my son and I were shown to a large empty room with comfortable seating, offered a hot drink and a cold milk for him. He was able to sit and do colouring, eat snacks and regulate himself. My daughter was able to see the show. Staff regularly checked in with us throughout the hour long show. I am SO SO grateful. I believe the gentleman’s name who went out of his way to help was Jonathan. HUGE THANK YOU.

There was far more on display at this museum than we imagined there would be and everything was really well presented. Lots of cars and motorcycles, as well as other appropriate retro/vintage items. It’s well worth a visit and is conveniently situated in the middle of town. The place was spotlessly clean, as was the cafe which we thought was very good. Lovely staff, great food and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back.

Enjoyed walking around the orchards and the on site museum. However having to buy a token for ÂŁ3.00 per person to visit the museum took some time as the shop was busy. We visited other museums in Somerset during our stay and this was the only one with a compulsory fee. We stayed for lunch and the tasting board of ciders and then bought some. (Well it would have been rude not to!)

What lovely and friendly people to deal with. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I even had to alter the time I could visit them and they accommodated my every need. Definitely recommend dealing with Vintage Picker

Extremely funny night out! Really loved it with my teen! Would recommend! Great to be out and about again after such a long time! Congratulations to all the comedians and thank you for the aching abs from all the laughter!

This is one of a dying breed, an independent department store, the staff are brilliant and you can find loads of fascinating stuff. The cafe is great, you get a discount if you’re signed up for their loyalty card.
Do visit, and buy something, to keep this amazing place open.

Possibly the best escape room in the south west. Big statement, I know, but with zero time limit comes zero stress and time to take it all in. Highly recommended. The puzzles were excellent also, as was the spectacular host who made it all very fun. Looking forward to seeing what comes next here.
