The sultry cut marks a return to Mabel’s early R&B roots, as she expresses to her lover how good she can take care of them, becoming one of their ‘five a day’. Produced by Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Victoria Monet) , ‘Vitamins’ sees Mabel’s pair her crooning vocals with irresistible harmonies and an infectious instrumental. Speaking on the track Mabel explained:

“This song is my family and friends’ favourite song out of all the music I’ve made over the past couple years. It’s a reminder to the man I love to take care of himself but also that in difficult times I’ll always be there in his corner. I also dedicate the record to my uncle David Cherry that passed during the making of this song. He was a musician and I felt him guiding me musically during the session to be braver and bolder with my songwriting.”

‘Vitamins’ marks the first new solo music from Mabel since 2022’s ‘About Last Night…’, and follows on from the Black Sherif assisted collab ‘Zero’ earlier this year. Last month Mabel shared a heartfelt statement on social media announcing that she was back and launched the fan platform ‘This One’s For You’.

Stay tuned for more from Mabel.
