Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- EssexBetty64Essex, UK642 contributionsVisited several times while in Copenhagen. Had three lunches here on seperate occasions and all were good. We had no trouble getting a table though the area was busy. Yes it is a popular tourist area but certainly worth a visit. We also got a boat from here for a tour of the river and canals.Written 10 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - E TThe Hague, The Netherlands229 contributionsThe man at the gate told us that we had to go in, because we thought it was only an attractie park for children. However it is more, it is a beautiful garden with more that only attractions. Only it was a pity that the white peacocks were in a very small cage.Written 10 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EssexBetty64Essex, UK642 contributionsWell worth the visit. Buy tickets in advance and as you are allowed in within an allocated time the castle never felt busy. The Throne room tapestries are incredible.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Erika El MadiQuincy, MA59 contributionsBeautiful collection of mainly sculptures and remakes with a scarce painting section of French artwork. The inside garden was quite beautiful especially with thoughtfully placed artwork within although multiple copies of the same sculpture within the garden made it feel less impressive than if each piece had been unique. The Egyptian section was quite interesting as well as the thoughtful design into the mummy area.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anne DAustin, TX50 contributionsWe ascended on a very windy day and felt safe the entire time on the outside stairs.
It's really not that bad of a climb. I am glad we did it.Written 9 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We loved the ruins below ground. Unfortunately the church is only open on Sundays. We couldn’t enter the palace until after 2.00 as there was an event on do we returned later. Well worth a visit.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ilia G16 contributionsIt took me entirely three hours to finish the first floor of the museum using special fossils to show the history and way of living of the inhabitants of those lands
from pre-historical till B.C... Each period is profoundly explained in greater detail as to how the men lived and worked.
Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to tour the other two floors to experience the further history.Written 7 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Orusund Bridge to Malmo in Sweden is also visable.Written 3 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Drake HBeaminster, UK19 contributionsWide variety of food and drink, lots of cool shops too. Went on a Saturday at lunch time and managed to find somewhere to sit but it was bustling!Written 5 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EssexBetty64Essex, UK642 contributionsWe had a lovely time at the Botanical Gardens but there is a lot of workm being done at the moment so a large section is closed particularly near the lake. We didn't pay to go into the Palm House. The Alpine Rockey area is absolutely beautiful. More coffee outlets would be nice. Well worth a visit.Written 10 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MuseumanLondon, UK32 contributionsThe David Collection is one of those gems of Islamic culture that is generally known only to those who find themselves at a loose end in Denmark’s capital city. It’s an exceptional collection, lovingly maintained. Its latest exhibition is a tried and trusted formula.
‘Beyond Words: Calligraphy from the World of Islam’ examines the art that makes Islamic culture so distinctive, wherever it is. Initially, writing in Arabic was a mere matter of communication. Calligraphy soon became an aesthetic expression in its own right, used in almost every kind of media across the Islamic world. Regional variations create a diversity that isn’t appreciated until it’s pointed out. This exhibition does an admirable job in highlighting this.Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
