Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Lily HuWashington DC, DC1,785 contributionsThe iconic Copenhagen tourist spot. We went during a rainy part of the day and therefore there were way less people around. When we passed by another day (sunny), it was packed. So brave the rain for better photo opportunities!
All the restaurants looked cookie cutter and overpriced. Recommend coming for your photos and dine elsewhere more deserving.Written 31 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was very impressed with all the amazing flowers and plants all over the park. Fantastic colors and variety anywhere you look! We staying for the evening light and fire show, it was very colorful and very original.Written 30 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Catherine R28 contributionsWe really enjoyed our visit to the castle. We were amazed at the many historical pieces of artwork, furniture, and jewelry. The ability to follow along on your phone with all the room-to -room descriptions of the site and the artifacts was great. The Crown jewels were incomparable! so happy we went!Written 30 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SeverineNuneaton, UK542 contributionsFabulous church where half of the stairs Are around the tower. Not difficult to climb, great view at the top although it gets busy. - Erika El MadiQuincy, MA59 contributionsBeautiful collection of mainly sculptures and remakes with a scarce painting section of French artwork. The inside garden was quite beautiful especially with thoughtfully placed artwork within although multiple copies of the same sculpture within the garden made it feel less impressive than if each piece had been unique. The Egyptian section was quite interesting as well as the thoughtful design into the mummy area.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fauxmavenNew York City, NY850 contributionsEvery artifact from Denmark and its history seems to be here and beautifully presented. There is a nice cafe and top notch Children's Museum. - BettyTallinn, Estonia98 contributionsWe chose the regular tour so we did not see the royal kitchen, stables etc and it was still worth it!

There's a cool little staircase at the end with red light green light advising you when you can go up or come down. You can find brakes in between groups of people walking in order to take nice photos but know that there is a short line to get in to buy tickets and that during peak hours it can be quite busy in the tower.Written 30 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick PChatham, UK106 contributionsIf you like Islamic art, this is a must see. An absolutely stunning collection and free to see. Almost as much to see as in Istanbul. But you do have an uncomfortable feeling in the back of your mind that much of this really shouldn’t be sitting in Denmark.Written 25 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
