So where's mono and where's stereo here? Somebody help me!

I finally bought a copy of this release here on Discogs. I don’t write many reviews, but I am totally blown away of the sound quality of this reissue. I had the original 1972 pressing, long lost at a party. I seriously don’t remember it sounding as good as this pressing. As usual, I wet wash all vinyl new or old with Tergikleen before it hits my Technics SL-7 turntable. Listening on my vintage Marantz 2270. I highly recommend this.

So I just received this and the copy I ordered and received is on black vinyl. Not glow in the dark. Which was my preference. But I don’t see a release for this pressing on Discogs. Only for the glow in the dark. Can anyone point me to it? Or help create a release? The ID’s all seem identical to the glow in the dark variant.

I think the sound is not that bad. At least not on mine. Can you make the glow.in the dark brighter after exposing to light first?

Mono / stereo all put together ( without any mention of it ! ) & marked all as Stereo !
How many more times are they going to re-press it ? When it enough ?
Or are they going to keep on milking this untill the end of time ?

The mastering and pressing get a 4/5 from me. The music is 5/5. The glow in the dark vinyl and GZ pressing plant is a terrible combination. With that said, after 10 mins in the ultrasonic cleaner, pops and clicks are few and far between. There seems to be a mixture of mono and stereo tracks. I bought this on RSD, got home and read all the terrible reviews on here. Decided not to open it. After seeing there we’re almost 300 for sale on Discogs alone, I decided to give it a spin. I’m glad I did.

ugh, any spec of dust and it sounds like someone fled down my needle. I will never buy another glow in the dark record again, and I won't sell this crap to anyone.

Constant surface noise in the "quiet bits" and between tracks.

A great compilation spoilt by poor quality vinyl.

My 2 copies were ordered thru SOV England, and arrived weeks after RSD and Canadian store release (2058-1). I've gotta say I'm baffled by all the negatives. I think the glow in dark is moronic, but apart from that this is one sweet release. Beautiful gatefold, nice prints and liners, even the RSD obi is cool. The albums were clean, no garbage, no pops, no hiss. Sound and presence an 'A'. Only quibble is stereo on all tracks-I'm a mono guy and there's no way I'm playing my mono presses.
