Absolutely loved this restaurant! First time I had ever had curly steak fries and they were delicious. We had to go back before we left to come home it was so good. I had the beer-battered cod, which is something I’m always searching for because everyone has breaded fish or other white fish I don’t like. It exceeded my expectations. I really liked how it was cut into strips. Made the best batter to fish ratio I’ve ever had. Homemade coleslaw too!! The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and shared my interests, so he was extremely helpful. We could have stayed and chatted with him all day. I will be back very soon. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried

This place is a gem! We were in this area for a soccer tournament and found it just down the road from our cabin. We overheard the story of Trish's mountain diner through Sandra- our server and perhaps the co-owner. She explained how Trish passed away but she wants to keep everything true to the original vision. I mean, they make their own maple syrup. This is amazing. We loved our breakfast... my husband never orders steak out but he ordered their hand-cut steak and eggs and while eating he kept giving me the "holy cow this is so good" look. The service, the food, and the mountain fresh vibe is all you need. We will be back.
