Cynthia Boyd, age 49, of Pinnacle passed away on Wednesday, May 1^st, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Boyd was born on June 14^th, 1963 in Surry County to Darrell and Carol Chappell.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Lynn Boyd.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Ricky Boyd of the home, one son Timothy (Kimberly) Boyd of Pinnacle; one daughter Christina (Darrell) Parham of Roxsboro;; one brother Jeffery (Linda) Spencer of Mt. Airy; one sister Annette (Jesus) Flores of Mt. Airy four grandchildren Alyssa McHone, Abigail Boyd, Sara Parham, and Tristen Parham; one baby granddaughter to be and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Boyd will be conducted on Monday May 6^th, 2013 at 2pm at New Kingdom Ministires at 345 Airport Rd. Mt. Airy, NC 27030 with the Pastor Rex Adams and Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday night from 6-9pm at New Kingdom Ministries in Mt. Airy.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Huff Funeral Home at PO Box 237 East Bend, NC 27018 to help cover funeral expenses.
