What an amazing place. This place had so many different fish, sharks, stingrays plenty for every age to enjoy. Very large place. The fish had plenty of room to swim. Very clean place, staff friendly. Plan on 3 plus hours to see everything plus visit the shows. Well worth the price.

We spent a few hours here. Lots of flowers in early May. Maybe go in the morning since it can get hot. Find all 3 Chihuly sculptures.

We saw Shrek the Musical for our first event at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The midtown area has many restaurants nearby to enjoy before or after. We parked in the purple lot in the Coda building which is the furthest away of the Fox lots. We did not reserve ahead of time as the show was not full and paid the attendant at the gate. This lot was cheaper but also felt safe in a nice building.

The theatre is amazing with the blue roof that feels like the night sky. Our seats were about midway up the upper seating area and gave a great view of the stage. It was easy to navigate and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

This place had some interesting exhibits. Being that Coca-Cola was invented in Atlanta, it's cool to see some history and memorabilia and how it's associated with the city. You get to read about the history of how Coke was invented and see a bunch of different products on display from Coca-Cola (including all the other beverages the company owns). The tasting room was cool as you could sample many different Coca-Cola products from around the world.

Even though we went on a Thursday morning, it was a little busy because we were there at the same time as a school field trip was happening, but the staff did a good job of organizing to make sure the regular guests didn't get mixed up with the school groups. Overall, I had a fun 2 hours exploring, but I thought the building was smaller than I thought it was going to be.

Other then the Carter Presidential Library, this was my highlight of visiting Atlanta. I've long admired Dr. King all my life, and have read a lot about him in books and at the Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. Even with how much I know about MLK, I couldn't pass up a visit to the MLK Jr. National Historical Park.

There are a number of sights and buildings to visit in this area. We started off at the Visitor Center (there's not entrance fee so everything at this park site is free to visit), where you can get information from the front desk and when the Park Ranger talks are happening for the day. The Visitor Center is filled with some exhibits and info about Dr. Kings' life, his involvement with the Civil Rights Movement, his assassination, and legacy. They also have a section on Jimmy Carter, who first designated the MLK Jr. Historical Site in 1980 before it became a National Historical Park in 2018.

Next, we went over to the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church for a park ranger talk at 11am (there are a few shows during the day, but that could change so ask the front desk when the church talks are happening). It was awe inspiring to sit in the church and hear Dr. Kings' preaching over the intercom. You just could feel his presence. The park ranger gave a 20 minute talk about the history of the church building, and it was very educational.

After having a bite for lunch at the nearby Edgewood Pizzeria, we walked over to Dr. King's birth home, which unfortunately is closed for refurbishment and renovation until November 2025, but it was still nice to stand in front and see the outside of it. There's a gift shop next door to it as well if you want to pick up some souvenirs.

Finally, we stopped by the King Center, which has several exhibits in the Freedom Hall building about Dr. and Mrs. Coretta Scott King, Mohandas Ghandi, and Rosa Parks. Outside is the gravesite of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King that you can view and pay your respects. It's surrounded by water and a fountain, and you can hear his "I Have A Dream" speech playing in the background. It was very moving to see and take it all in. Next to the gravesite is also the eternal flame, and some inspiring messages surrounded throughout the grounds.

This was an amazing place to visit and learn about MLK Jr. This definitely has to be on your itinerary if you happen to be in Atlanta.

This is the place to visit in Atlanta. Excellent exhibits, including an interactive lunch counter (to attempt to experience aggressive racism). Very moving. History of the Civil Rights Movement. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed seeing the animals and the new elephant enclosure. We were fortunate enough to see the gorillas playing and the pandas chilling.
The downside was dinning. Ate at an off time and the line still took forever. The most concerning part had to do with the outdoor seating. The umbrella would list in the moderate wind and land on people. There were not any employees to assist with this. I saw it happen 4 different times. Each time others would put their umbrellas down. Then a new group would put their umbrella up and the problem reoccured.

Fun park with plenty of space for the kids to run around in. Next door to the aquarium and world of Coke. We had fun seeing the Olympic items and talking about the games with the kids. Good place to visit.

We stopped by for a little bit after visiting the Atlanta Botanical Garden, which is right next door. Lots of people around, and got some nice pictures of the scenery. Definitely a good place to stop and relax.

We spent 5 hours here and we still didn't get to read everything here; this museum is big with so much information. There are so many exhibits about the history of Atlanta; the Olympics, the Civil War, trains, and many others. The Civil War Cyclorama is amazing to look at; there are 15 minute presentations at the top of every hour. We also saw an exhibit dedicated to Hank Aaron, and being that my Dad is a MLB follower, he definitely had to visit this part of the museum.

Don't forget that there is more than just the main building as well. Out through the back door you can go through the gardens to visit the historic Swan House and Smith Family Farm. It's literally like walking into a mansion frozen in time. The farmhouse has farm animals like chickens, turkeys, and sheep out to see too.

We had lunch at the Souper Jenny cafe inside the center, and apparently it's popular because there are cars that park in the front just to eat there. It has a pretty good deal for $18, you get a choice of sandwich, a bowl of soup, a drink, a cookie, and an apple. It was a little cold and rainy the day we visited, so getting to eat some hot soup was nice.

There's a lot to see here, highly recommended if you're into history and learning about the city of Atlanta.

Great start to the day. We did one of the docent tours, which was really good, and also wandered around on our own. I recommend looking into the docent tour times before going and including that as part of you visit. The docent provided some great insight to some pieces.

Amazing ball park with an outstanding entertainment complex outside ("The Battery"). We went to Atlanta intending to go there for one evening and ended-up going there for three nights. We definitely plan to go back!

We were able to get discounted tickets through Groupon that included parking next door. The hall of fame was very interactive and entertaining and had options to select your school upon entrance. You were then able to scan it at the different exhibits to find out about your school's facts and players who were inducted. There were also areas where you can test your vertical jump, 40 yard dash, and try kicking field goals as well.

Walked here to see the food court. Tons of options. Tasty food. The clothes stores were very expensive but at least there were lots of food types and styled - Asian, Indian, Latin American.
