Three months after his shocking death, the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner has determined that late Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein died as a result of a blood clot blocking an artery in his lungs. According to a post-mortem report posted in the Coroner’s website, Feldstein, 40, suffered from a condition detailed as pulmonary thromboembolism and deep leg vein thrombosis, another type of blood clot.
Also listed as contributing factors were obesity and acute bronchopneumonia. Feldstein, brother of actor Jonah Hill, was reported dead on Dec. 23 after suffering cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home.
Feldstein was the co-founder and CEO of Career Artist Management, which helped guide the career of his childhood friend, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. Among the company’s other clients are Miguel, Big Boi and Chromeo.
