Reviews
- A seemingly rare record, but the Blues on this cut is amongst the best Jimmy Dawkins recordings I have: which is quite a few. His style is simple perhaps, but the Blues is not about a million notes when one expressive one will do a better job. Dawkins moves around the neck giving a performance that is a mix of trad blues riffs, chord hits and weird two note slides and bends. If you're into the Blues & especially Jimmy Dawkins look out for a good copy.... & good luck with that!
