avoid easyjet car hire

booked through easyjet. Drivalia overcharged me for excess mileage by 100 miles approx £30. They recognise its their mistake and said they've submitted my refund request. Over a month later - nothing. I can't re-log or chase just going round in internet circles. I can't work out if they are incompetent or charlatans, making it almost impossible to get a refund. AVOID DRIVALIA AND BOOKING ANY CAR HIRE THROUGH EASY JET (they've been next to useless too)

Name change …

We booked a holiday that one person couldn’t go on, we tried to change the name after being told by several employees of easyJet there would be no problem, only to then be told they wouldn’t be able to change as too near the departure (3 days). Their online advice is totally misleading and customer service is none existent. Will not book with Easy jet again.

Rude and inaccurate t&c’s

Booked an all inclusive holiday through easyJet. We needed to change one of the passenger names a few days before the departure, spoke to customer services who advised us on multiple occasions that as long as we call back before the end of the day they would do that for us. I called back a few hours later to be told they wouldn’t do it as was ‘to late’ despite their online t&c saying you can change up to 2 hours prior to departure. They denied ever having any conversations with myself saying that I could change the name. Totally inadequate advice, unhelpful rude customer service with ‘computer says no’ attitude

Do not use EJ for Car HIre

Do not use EJ for car hire.

I booked through EJ for a car in Almeria, which wa supposed to be supplied by Thrifty but was actually via Hertz.

EJ will sell the service, take the money but take no responsibility in helping with any problems.

The actual car hire was fine, however it is no 24 days post giving the car back and they still have not released the £800 deposit hold on my card.

EJ refuse to help before 28 days, and most support is bots, they also palm me off with fake solutions and tell me they'll email chase and update.

Thrifty, do not respond to any requests for support.

Overall, it is just a terrible experience and pure lack of customer service.

Go straight to suppliers for car hire AVOID EasyJet.

They will steal your money

This has been the worst customer service experience I ever encountered in my life. I added 15 kg cabin bag to my purchase which was £32 per flight and on the last page it did not confirm the price and I realised, from my bank account notification, that £150 was taken from my account. The system added another hold bag to my purchase! They did not refund my money even though there was a problem with the service and the customer service advisor was very very rude and said "think whatever you wish so" "you have no proof" "it is what it is". Just avoid them at any cost.

Worst possible experience as a…

Worst possible experience as a customer. The meeting with the female employee at the service/check in desk of flight 19.45 Milano - Brindisi on the 23 May was worst every experience. As a gold traveler with Emirates, Ita airways and American airlines - it’s so bad marketing for Easyjet to have such a low level of employees. You work in service and customers/travelers is always king - but what I experience today was under all critics. You can not treat a client like today, so I make this review so Easyjet can avoid future similar situations with this particular invidual. After travel with Easyjet for over 8-10 years - this was my last trip. Thank you for the good moments, but never again - low level company.

Don’t trade my tickets in next time. I don’t care about your ts and cs

Tried to check in 8 hours before my flight from LGW to Toulouse. I couldn’t. I checked online with customer service if the flight was overbooked. They assured me it wasn’t and wasn’t going to be so we went to the airport where we found out it was overbooked.
I got given a direct line number to call. I rang them, was put on hold for half an hour at which point they hung up 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡.
We were sent through security and two people didn’t check into the flight last minute so we managed to get on.

Here's a suitable title for the review: --- **Outrageously High Ticket Prices and Poor Value for Money**Here's the negative review in English:

Here's the negative review in English:

---

I am extremely disappointed with EasyJet. The ticket prices are outrageously high compared to other airlines. Even when purchasing tickets well in advance, the prices are disproportionately high and completely unjustified for the standard offered. EasyJet does not provide any significant benefits that could justify such high costs. This is utterly unacceptable and discourages me from using their services again. I would recommend looking for alternative airlines that offer more reasonable prices and better value for money.

NEVER EVER BOOK OVER EASYJET

NEVER EVER BOOK OVER EASYJET! And absolut no connection flights! You can count on delays, so you will NOT make it to the second flight. There is absolutely NO ONE who will help you. You have to book your self a stay over and new flights.

It is a very sad customer experience. They absolutely don’t care about their customers.

Avoid easyJet,use Ryanair.

Think twice before booking a flight with easyJet,they have cancelled our flights so many times recently leaving us with great expenses for booked hotels and airport parking.only yesterday they cancelled our flight for next week at great expense to us again!!!last year they cancelled a flight via text at 3am while we were abroad, the flight was supposed to be at 9am,they just abandoned us,had to book flights with BA to get home.will not be using easyJet again, they are cheap but very unreliable.we have never had a problem with Ryanair, will be using them in future.

The worst European airline and services…

EASYJET the worst European airline and services company in the world. A group of scammers stealing people’s money. What happened to me is that I booked a flight, paid the money, and got a board pass. Suddenly I received an email telling me that the flight was canceled and that I must travel one day before the confirmed date or receive a refund. Then I receive a confirmation. A travel reservation for a trip that I cannot travel on. Their answer is either you travel or you lose your rights. Very bad services and daylight theft. Beware of this company.

NEVER on time and NEVER EASY

NEVER on time and NEVER EASY. They need to change their name to StressJet or LateJet. I have not once ever had a flight be on time with EasyJet. Don’t they know it causes MAJOR disruptions when they make people late all the time? I am understanding to a degree but the delays have caused me great loss and stress. I missed my ride and I’m stuck. Makes me not even want to travel anymore. I cannot recommend this airline AT ALL.

Avoid using the app or the company at all

Usually a fan of EasyJet, however I used their “live updates” feature on their app which failed to notify us of a gate change. Missing our flights, easyJet customer service have said its in their T&C’s that they won’t refund new tickets.

Will definitely be avoiding in the future! Could have booked a flight to Australia from the UK for what financial loss I incurred due to their awful app.

Will definitely be avoiding in the future!

So cheap company

So cheap company, so cheap staff
I recently had to add some last-minute items to my luggage and realized I needed to include my hand luggage as well. When I informed the lady at the counter, she charged me £48, while the online price was around £22. This discrepancy is extremely disappointing, and it feels like your company is overcharging customers. Nowhere is it stated that you will charge more than double for hand luggage. It’s really a shame.
