Is there a Frasier reboot trailer?
Same Frasier but back in Boston! The trailer introduces the new cast of characters that Frasier interacts with in this next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, old relationships to mend and new ones to make, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Think Harvard!
What is the Frasier reboot about?
The new series follows Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!
"He's our brave little soldier that continues on in life, finding new challenges and a new love and new people and a new city and stuff like that," Grammer told People. "I'm really very excited about it, and we'll certainly always honor the past. We have to honor the fact that John Mahoney died and that Martin is no longer with us. We'll be dealing with that for sure."

Who is in the Frasier reboot cast?
Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane
Obviously Kelsey Grammer will return as the iconic psychiatrist with the ultra-rich voice and bougie attitude.

Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier's son, Freddy
Jack Cutmore-Scott shows that little Freddy has really grown up. And, if we're being honest, he's grown up into a bit of a hunk.
Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan
Nicholas Lyndhurst will play Alan, a college buddy of Frasier Crane who becomes a college professor. He previously starred with Kelsey Grammer in a London production of The Man From La Mancha.
Toks Olagundoye as Olivia
Toks Olagundoye stars as Olivia, head of the university's psychology department and Alan's colleague.
Jess Salguerio as Eve
Jess Salguerio will play Eve, Freddy's roommate. She's previously appeared in The Expanse, The Boys, Letterkenny, Y: The Last Man and Workin' Moms. Her character Eve is described as “spontaneous, outgoing and bursting with creative energy whether it was asked for or not. Eve is a breath of fresh air. With an innate ability to connect with both Frasier and Freddy, Eve is a critical bridge between father and son as they attempt to reconcile.”
Anders Keith as David
Anders Keith will star as Frasier Crane's nephew, David. It will be Keith's onscreen acting debut after graduating from Julliard in May 2022. The character David is the son of Niles Crane and Daphne Moon and is described as "awkward" and prone to making quirky observations, noting, "Frasier’s nephew David has Niles’ intelligence, Daphne’s smile, and neither of their polish. David’s unearned confidence may confuse some, but Frasier has a fondness for his nephew’s earnest enthusiasm.”
Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle
What is Frasier without longtime producer Roz Doyle in the background? We've learned that Peri Gilpin will be back for the reboot—sadly as a guest star and not a series regular.
In the original Frasier finale, Roz had just been promoted to station manager at KACL. There's no word yet on her role in the new series.
Bebe Neuwirth as Lilith
Bebe Neuwirth will return to reprise her role as Frasier Crane's ex-wife, the cold-as-ice Lilith, but not as a series regular.
And Deadline reports that Lilith shows up at their son Freddy’s birthday party, where Lilith, in classic form, is far from pleased about having to share Freddy now that Frasier is back living in Boston. What begins as a fun party with friends and family, inevitably becomes a Lilith-and-Frasier showdown for the ages.

Will David Hyde Pierce return to Frasier as Niles?
Unfortunately not. David Hyde Pierce will not be joining Grammer in the Frasier reboot.
“David basically decided he wasn’t really interested in repeating the performance of Niles,” Grammer told PEOPLE.
In the series finale Niles remained in Seattle while Frasier quit his radio job and went to Chicago in an attempt to reconnect with his girlfriend Charlotte (Laura Linney).
“In a very funny way, it just took us to a new place, which was what we originally wanted to do anyway, which was a Frasier third act,” Grammer said. “It’s an entirely new life for him.”
But Frasier fans aren’t having any of it! For them, there is no Frasier without Niles!
Will any of the other original Frasier cast members return?
John Mahoney (Martin Crane)
Sadly, John Mahoney died at age 77 on Feb. 4, 2018, so, obviously, he will not take part in the reboot.
Jane Leeves (Daphne Moon)
As Niles’ wife, Daphne would only need to be a part of the show if her hubby came back, because her job as a live-in caretaker for Martin came to an end.
