PHEN-228 il likely the spirit of a notorious Japanese war criminal named “Mutsuhiro Watanabe” who was also known with the nickname “The Bird”. Mutsuhiro Watanabe was a Japanese Sargent who help captive numerous American soldiers during WW2 and took great sexual pleasure in beating and whipping them. One of them was named “Louis Zamperini”, an Italian-American olimpionic star whom after the war ended went on to write a book on his experience named “Unbroken” that even got adapted into a film with the same name. The Job Zamperini that we see in the video is clearly supposed to be Louis Zamperini, that requested to the Ephrata Branch to let his true identity remain private for negligible reasons. As mentioned before, many clues in the video led me and many others to believe that PHEN-228 is the lingering spirit of Mutsuhiro Watanabe, who unsatisfied, continues to torture Louis Zamperini even years after his death, from the phrase written in Japanese near the end of the video to the year in which Broadcast-813 aired (which is the same as Mutsuhiro Watanabe’s death, which was in 2003), it’s clearly all connected. As to why Watanabe’s spirit took that tower-like form, I have no clue, same as to why the spirit is completely charred and deformed. But we can assume that this form serves to represent Watanabe’s wicked soul. But all that could be actually bullshit since many people also believe that PHEN-228 is pestilence, on of the four knights of the apocalypse present in the book of revelation.

Personally I don’t know if Watanabe was spoiled in life, he apparently gained lots of sexual pleasure by beating prisoner and was a sadist so I think that counts.
Even though he’ll is generally considered hot, not all versions of it describe it this way. In the bible hell is described as a endless land of fire and brimstone (sulfur), but in the Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri says that the deeper you go, the colder.
For me PHEN-228 doesn’t even look like it was boiled, he looks more like he was flayed alive, but the string like things we see on his head, which I assume are hair, look pretty charred. He’s also heavily disfigured, since he appears to not have arms, at least where they should be, he also lacks eyelids and he generally has a “melted” aesthetic, so I can’t really even tell myself what happened to him.
If you've ever seen recent cartel execution videos, especially Funkytown Gore, he does look like he has his face flayed off and then ran over. No eyelids, no nost, no ears, and not lips.

Watanabe, if that's who it really is, was interested in things like nihilism, so I don't think he'd even know anything about hell and Satan, if that's how hell even works.
One interesting thing is that a common misconception is that demons and Satan are the management staff of hell, but hell is actually specifically intended for them to be punished or destroyed, depending on what your interpretation of hell is. We just end up there too because of God being too disgusted at sinfulness.
The really sad thing is, Louis Zamperini went to try to meet with Watanabe after the war to do things like tell Watanabe he had forgiven him, and I think to catch up to see how he was doing, but the latter refused.
Zamperini eventually just wrote him a letter saying as much. It's unknown if Watanabe even read the letter because he didn't acknowledge it.
It also says in one the boiled one phenomenon "Fear the one and only Wantanabe Bird

Thank god it isn't. However, locked-in syndrome, that it causes, IS real but rare. Caused by things like a very unfortunate stroke in the brain stem.
Little to no recovery is expected prognosis, though in rare cases, one guy recovered "95% of function" after 4 or 5 months" and actually walked out of the long term care facility on his own. the body of the creature phen-228 cannot be made due to the fact that it can supposedly grow any limbs, this was shown at the end of THE BOILED ONE FEROMON (sorry if I didn't write it correctly) and the height of the phen-228 is about 6-10 meters, judging by the photo with the toy house, which is 1.25 meters high. conclusion phen-228 is a creature with a height of 6-10 meters with the ability to create presumably any limbs.

To a certain point in the video, or the tape, you get to see that he's about 2x the size of the house. This is slightly towards the middle, or closer to the end. His body is like a snake, and is all black. Especially when the world "opens up" it shows his whole body design. Terrifying.
