I found this because I was just checking the web to find out if the content ever got released to a streaming site.

I was at the 24 Hr Takeover and I've always wanted to go back and watch the footage. Lol it's been a long time coming.🍃 I was very young at the time!

I went there with someone who has since passed away. He's been gone now for about 10 years. I've desperately wanted to see the footage of him smiling, and enjoying himself. He was so happy that night, which didn't occur very often. But he really had a blast. It is a wonderful memory with a beautiful human who I no longer am able to see.

Watching this takes on a bigger meaning than simply revisiting a fun time and a good laugh. It captured a brief period on time with someone who I loved and who I miss dearly. Seeing it after all these years would be incredibly moving.

The MTV live studio was utter chaos by the time we got inside. The place was jam-packed with people. Between the film crew, catering and production, the jackass guys their friends and the audience of course, it was pretty wild in there.

During commercial breaks the Jackass boys would jump up and run around bathroom breaks getting food chatting with Friends Meeting fans talking to the crew and a sneaking off for a little bit of off-screen pick me up.

Once you got in the door you could stay for as long as you wanted. You could show up and stay for the entire time if it tickled your fancy. I'm not sure if anybody actually lasted that long tho.

The only way to claim a spot inside was to wait for someone to come out. When an audience member did leave, a slot would open up and people who were waiting in a line outside the building in the freezing NYC winter could start to defrost and claim their spot on the bleachers.

The MTV live studio is a very small set. You couldn't tell because of the way it was filmed, but the floors had big thick wires that twisted and covered the floor all over all over main set. When added to the fact that everybody was completely loaded these became a terrible tripping hazard.

It was well in to the show by the time I took my place inside , and the guys were quite intoxicated and tired. Everyone was having a difficult time functioning. Steve-O was the worst imo. He knocked me over and in to the middle of the room as the camera peeps were giving us a countdown after a commercial break...10, 9, 8, 7 We're all scuttering to get off the main set, 6, 5, 4, Steve-O totally rams me after tripping on a wire I think. I had been talking to Johnny Knoxville, and once you all came flying into me I was knocked almost face first in to Knoxville's lap. I think I made it out of the main set before we went live again but to this day I'm not entirely sure. There may be a clip of me running off the stage at some point in that footage. stage? I don't know if that's the right word.

I took some liberties in exploring a bit, while they were filming and I had to use the restroom. I successfully made it in to the catering room and got myself nice little snack. I think people just assumed if you were back there you must be on staff or possibly a friend of the Jackass boys and so nobody questioned me. Most of the guys were obliterated by this time and barely able to walk. When cameras rolled they somehow compose themselves relatively well.

I think that Steve-O was the only one who ended up being "sent to bed" for being belligerent and completely out of control at some point.... which wasn't supposed to happen! I honestly can't even remember the premise but I believe they were all supposed to stay awake for the entire show.

The highlight of my night was definitely 5uwhen i got to spend some alone time with Chris Pontius who I happened to run into in the hallway when nobody else was around. Especially because was just the two of us , I was really nervous , but was so soft spoken, sweet and gentle.

He had clearly had a few drinks but he didn't seem to be as intoxicated as the other guys and was really sweet in our interaction. He took a really long time signing my t- while chatting with me. In typical groupie fashion I used my bust as a sort of table in which he not only signed but spent a decent amount of time on an artistic rendering of his signature. which might have been a contributing factor.

It's really weird. I've been hanging on to that t-shirt for all of this time. Every time I moved every time I put my things in storage and the new apartment I mean I can't count, honestly I don't know I couldn't count how many times I've had to move since way back then!

The things that happened while they were filming or on TV already everybody knows that stuff. These are the things that kind of stuck out in my mind about the whole event that were more personal, and perhaps interesting to other fans. I don't know. It's been a long time. Would be really excellent to see this footage I'm excited that I found this!🔥

I know this is a year old post, but I’m a very very basic Reddit user and I have a discord, but rarely use it, so would anyone be able to break down how I could purchase the full 24 Hour Takeover? Willing to pay however much, I just don’t understand how this post or joining a discord server for something works 😂 sorry to sound like an old man, haha.
